Docetaxel would be a good next step
Radiation would be a good possibility with casodex. Then you could go on xtandi.
I’m not at Mayo . Wish that I was ...I think that you’re in good hands there with a specialist . You should get some answers here . Please let me know what Dr. Kwon suggests ... don’t quit now ,it might take the kitchen sink to knock it out . APC is a long -winded bastard ...if you have to hit it some more ,do it and don’t look back . Good luck in battle ....
Thanks to all of you. I will let you know how things go at Mayo. Thanks again
BTW give us more info about yourself. age, location, doctor's name(s) and etc. All info is voluntary. Thank you....

John, I am 67 years old and live near the Quad Cities in Iowa. My treatment for the last 2 years was at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care in Goshen Indiana. Move to Iowa last May to help take care of my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's. When zytiga quit working I decided to get an appointment at Mayo Clinic. My doctor in Indiana wanted me to do chemotherapy and I decided to see if Mayo would recommend the same. Thanks guys for all your responses.
Thank you for your quick and detailed response. You may want to copy and paste that information on you home page (under your name) for future reference and inquiries by other members.
God will honor you for taking care of your mother-in-law.
BTW I've heard many good references regarding Dr Kwon at Mayo. Hopefully good news on 12/03/2019. Take someone with you as a scribe...

Hmm... Just curious, have you been given Lupron?
Here is my history since dx (8/18): I turn 71 in December. G9, stage 3 and high PSA was 28 (no mets). HDR Brachy (April 26th) and 25 days of IMRT.
PSA has held steady at <0.014 since 4/19 (when I went off Casodex and Lupron and switched to Lupron, Zytiga and prednisone).
Just my experience...
Best
Been on Lupron since being diagnosed. Side effects for me have been tolerable. Hot flashes have increased a little since starting zytiga but still bearable. Was on casodex with Lupron for the first 8 months. PSA never got below .98
