Zoladex

I had questioned beforehand if it was that bad, I had been on zoladex for a few years so thought it couldn't have gotten out of hand. Well it turns out it was really serious, the surgeons did a segmental bowel resection and removed 6 inches of bowel which was riddled with disease.

What have your experiences been like post zoladex or having a coil ? Thanks in advance x

They said zoladex 3.6 will help me. I have taken 2 shots, yet still having my periods. What can be the probable reason behind this? Please help

I also do not have kids. 2 years ago my gynae recommended i go on zoladex injections, indefinitely, to help shrink the fibroids. 2 years later i have decided to go ahead with it, i haven't started as yet as i am a little afraid. My fibroids arr huge and many. Will they shrink?

Hi any advice on dealing with hot flushes,finished a 3 month course of zoladex over a month ago and still getting very bad flushes I'm 47 so it's possible that the zoladex has started the real thing any advice would be helpful (you don't get a lot of support and information from medical staff) this

I have been put on a 3 month cause of zoladex every 28 days. I am terrified of what the future is in relation to the surgery and have felt absolutely rubbish since the first injection yesterday. I feel so tired, sick, heady and achy.

Hi there I had my last Zoladex implant 3.6mg on 14th June after a 'long treatment'(6mths) for stage IV Endo. Its 24th July and I'm still having side effects(particularly hot flushes and insomnia).

From reading on here I see most first ports of call they offer are zoladex or birth control .

I have tried various conservative medical treatments such as zoladex, the coil and depo injections more recently. The coil and depo injections left me bleeding daily. This obviously has an impact on our sex life and sex now can be painful.

Hi im new to the group and was wondering if im going crazy.I was on zoladex had 4 injections and since my last one in june one side of my mouth is swollen and sore especially after cleaning my teeth,the other side is perfectly fine and my gums are normal, ive heard that the zoladex can do this its happened

I have been on zoladex for nearly 9 months and I have been told that I can't have anymore due to bone density. Even though it didn't take all my symptoms away it helped loads and I feel better than I have for the past year.

I had treatment for severe endo in march (surgery etc) and had my last Zoladex injection approx 8 weeks ago. I haven't had a hot flush for just over a week so I'm assuming it's wearing off or has worn off now. According to my gynae it should flush out the system in 4 weeks..... yeah right.

I cried and cried just because i was so frustrated I've been in pain for years its getting worse all the time and for eight month I was told everything pointed to Endo, the zoladex worked so I presumed it was Endo.

The Zoladex turned me into a irritable grumpy depressed moody cow..... :-(

I have just done 6 months of zoladex and celeste duet 1mg. I seemed to have bad side effects and got quite depressed. The dr yesterday as recommend me to treat my endo with zoladex again plus oestrogen patches and a mirena coil. It just seems like so much hormone treatment.
