Planned Hysterectomy - Starting to Panic
I have had numerous treatments over my life including contraceptive medication,
Zoladex
and laparoscopy surgery to laser the endometriosis about 10 years ago, which sadly ended up with me having my left ureter cut which led to septicemia and 10 surgeries within 5 months to correct the problem.

Zoladex and HRT
I've been on
zoladex
because the pressure of my cysts is killing my right kidney, until my surgery date. Had my first injection this morning and been prescribed HRT Tibolone 2.5mg. What was everyone's thoughts about taking HRT.

Made treatment decision, now what? Any help gratefully received
I've been told my options and for various reasons the only one that seems viable to me is
Zoladex
prior to possible surgery (I'm very aware this doesn't work for everyone and can have horrible side-effects, but have tried most other things over 20+ years).

Off Zoladex - feel awful! Please help!
I had a course of
Zoladex
as an attempt to stop the bleeding from December to May, last dose in May 2021. I also have a Mirena coil, fitted during surgery.

Can ADT cause thinning of teeth?
Since I began a two-year course of
Zoladex
2.5 years ago, one tooth after another has cracked, necessitating implants. This may just be a sign of age and/or the effect of too much grinding, but I can't help but wonder if ADT can have the same effect on teeth as bones.

Muscular pain
Hi peeps Just a quick question, every now and then I'll be walking the dog or climbing the stairs at home and I get a severe pain in my top or right side of my leg, so bad I can't walk for a few mins then it goes away, does this have anything to do with my hormone treatment
Zoladex
perhaps weakening

What do we know about reduced ADT instead of IADT??
Picking up a point from Karmaji on another post if ADT works so well in repressing cancer - maybe we only require a half dose (
Zoladex
meant for three months - but taken every 6 months) to keep the PCa in check once it has been repressed??

Next stage of treatment
Hormone treatment (
zoladex
and xtandi) have brought PSA down to 0.04 and testosterone to undetectable. So on Tuesday I will have the first weekly radiation treatment of six at 6 gys. Any advice out there on how I should prepare and what to expect?

HRT AFTER HYSTERECTOMY
I have been on Tibolone for about a year now as was on it with
Zoladex
as well. I get on really well with it but have been having quite a bit of hair loss. My consultant had written to my GP to recommend I try Evorel 50 patches but this is an oestrogen only HRT...

Endometrioma causing problems. Anyone else had Zoladex injections? Or got pregnant with very low AMH?
I am Due to start
Zoladex
soon. Has anyone ever had this? Current plan: Awaiting aspiration of endometrioma (chocolate cyst) under ultrasound. Commencing monthly
Zoladex
injections to induce a temporary menopause and help prevent regrowth of the endometrioma. 2.

Docetaxel or Erleada.
It seems her thoughts are still with Erleada and
zoladex
. She felt that was the best way to go for john . She said there wasn’t that much disease and that she had seen a lot worse and felt that apultimide had the edge on chemo . And that this was a journey and we were at stage 1 .

Peri-menopause...when did you start? And how to spot it?
So I'm on
zoladex
now, but some of this symptoms I had then for the last couple of years, I dismissed peri-menopause since I'm in my mid 30s. But now on
zoladex
I notice that the symptoms are just more often. But I already had night sweats, dryness, pmdd for a while.

Zoladex just not helping?
Hi, Has anyone else had any experience of
Zoladex
just not helping? I’ve just had my 4th injection and I’m still in constant pain and on regular strong pain killers just to live!

Zoladex?
Hey guys, I’m looking to hear anyone’s experience with
Zoladex
injection/implant? I went to my appointment yesterday feeling very exhausted, and feeling like I have little options left. My surgeon presented me with the 2 options I do have, which is pain management therapy and
Zoladex
.

Your experiences?
My endo specialist has given me three options to move forward, and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tried any of these and how they got on with them. 1) Depo Provera (contraceptive injection) 2)
Zoladex
(injection to induce menopause, plus HRT I believe) on a three month trial 3) Laparoscopy

Zoladex without HRT what are your goes to supplements and natural approach to help with the initial flare up and the menopause symptoms?
I will be on
zoladex
for 4-6m before surgery for fertility so I won't take any HRT during this time. Any advice on how to manage the initial flare up? And how to manage the menopause symptoms? Thank you 💟
