Hello all So after years of a tummy that reacted to certain foods, being diagnosed as gluten intolerant in 2016, really suffering in 2021 and 2022, following a FODMAP diet recommended by my doctor (don’t recommend) and getting to a point where I only ate the same plain things everyday, I finally paid

I won't received them until Christmas, my friend is coming to me for Christmas and is bringing them down to me when he comes. So I will be starting my T3 then. I know

Combine standard care with alternative care
The University of Maryland reported two cases of terminated PCs by combining standard care treatment with an alternative treatment. By reducing the PSAs to less than 3, the clioquinol + zinc killed more cancer than testosterone could renew, therefore termination. My PSA in three months went from 58

Low fT4, but midrange fT3. Feeling cold, brain fog.
Hi there, male, 64, fit, no problems besides this: for about 3 years I´m having symptoms like feeling cold, brain fog, and most things one would consider to be low thyroid function. I did a lot of blood tests in the last year. Most values are ok. Zinc, Vit B, Selen etc. has all been tested ok, too

NZ meat chickens no longer medicated
Until recently, most meat chickens received a daily dose of antibiotics. Stopped taking NDT thyroid
Hello, could you share your experiences if you tried stopping thyroid hormone replacement? I was on NDT for years, developed hyperthyroid symptoms +very low TSH (normal ft3 and ft4), had heart arrythmia and high blood pressure, lost a lot of hair. Taking NDT didn't help with my weight problems or other

Bioinorganic Chemistry of Micronutrients Related to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases
Recent interesting article (July 2023). I was researching a bit more on B6 because there is still negative research about supplementing with B6, and came across this on Pub Med. This article also discusses metals in PD. I guess a hair test might be of benefit. It would be difficult for me to try

hair loss
I am low on ferritin and zinc and I am now getting vitaminB injections. I cannot absorb ferritin or zinc through my stomach (I am well medicated with thyroxine and levels remains stable). I keep asking for an iron infusion but keep getting refused because my 'numbers' are within normal range -ferritin

Colonoscopy
I had a very stressful colonoscopy last Thursday. Stressful in itself but rendered more so by the Practice Nurse who fasttracked me, saying, ‘Good luck, I hope I’m wrong.’ I defy anyone to not think the worst after that! Anyway, the scope was clear of cancer, or polyps but confirmed what I already knew

Does anybody have information on factors affection the absorption / effect of stimulant medication? I already know about the effect of vit C and other acidic foods etc and that alkaline things like bicoarbonate of soda can potentially prolong the effect of medication. Bloods advice pls -starting T3 combo
Morning everyone, hope you're good. 😁I'm getting ready to start t3 combo. There have been a few hiccups with thyroxine dosage/supply. So currently, my prescription of thyroxine has gone up to 87.5mcg, (was put down to 75 as they didn't stock 85) & 5mcg of T3. I just wanted to check in with you to

Hello all. Following advice from SlowDragon, got GP to agree to Vit testing as T3 low and as SlowDragon though they would, they drew blood for Thyroid levels , too! Must say here, too, after GPS lowered my Levo, because I had too many hypo symptoms return, I upped the dose from 175 to 200 as on 200

Help with test results
I am feeling a bit better, not so spaced out, no depression or dizziness. I stopped HRT in July. However, I do still get tired, have weight problems, have a swollen scalloped tongue, high cholesterol, goitre, tinnitus, joint stiffness. I am on 100mg Levothyroxine. I take B complex, B1, selenium
