Ibrance, anastrozole, zometa side effects
This past week, week two off Ibrance because of low WBC, I felt a heaviness in upper chest, breathless, and consequently, sky rocketing high blood pressure. I called oncologist but all they heard was "chest pain" and "can't breathe" and sent me to the ER. 7 hours late and countless tests, I emerged

Mini pill (pop) and constant bleeding.
Hi everyone! I started taking the mini pill ‘zelleta’ I think it’s called, it’s the cheaper version of cerazette I believe. Basically I started it about 5 weeks ago, and I have experienced constant heavy mensural bleeding for 4 of those weeks. According to my gynae I shouldn’t bleed on it all. The reason

Anybody on Zometa injection/ Zoledronic acid?
Hello everyone, I had a bone scan last week and it revealed osteopenia 😱😨🤯 I’m not surprised as I feel it. My poor bones have deteriorated since I started on Anastrazole and now I’m on Exemastene. I’m 42 so I have to be on hormone therapy for 10 years and I don’t know if my bones will hold up. What

Zometa Plus Six Months
Had a bad reaction to my first Zometa infusion six months ago. It's time for another round. I have read that subsequent doses are usually easier, or my Onc might try something else? Does anyone have experience with Round 2 or a substitute med?

When to start xtandi after docetaxel?
Hello, wars. Father just finished 6 rounds of docetaxel, 9 Glisson, diagnosed in may 2020. Mets in the bones and spine. The original PSA was 135, now 0.7. Gets Lupron and Zometa. Should he start taking Xtandi now, or wait for the PSA to start rising? Opinions of different oncologists were divided. Thanks

CRPC at 58 - next step
My PSA (2.5 years post successfully completed chemo) is now on the rise. Still a modest movement from undetectable to 0.2 to 0.3 to 0.4 to now 0.5 (each separated by 6 weeks). But obviously it’s time for treatment given my high grade and high tumor load when I was first diagnosed. I currently remain
