Clinical trials coming soon!

I went through a enormous amount of tests yesterday, My PSA has risen from 4.3 to 17.9 and new bone Mets have appeared , multiple new ones were visable on the ribs and eliac, I believe I am experiencing pain as a result. I am concerned this harpoon trial will not be effective, and further delay a treatment less experimental. It starts at OHSU for my two night stay the 21st. I am grateful for the opportunity although I hope it's the correct choice given my acceleration of Mets etc. Should I push for something like SBRT or a compliment to the lupron and zometa. Thxs my friends

SBRT is likely useless. You can add Celebrex to the Zometa. In STAMPEDE, the combination increased survival by 22%. I don't think it will interfere with your clinical trial. email this to Dr Beer:

Thankyou, The onc indicated the new Mets discovered were very small, I am not sure if this better or not. I will send the link.

The information on the Harpoon website indicates promising initial results. The technology is sound. I believe you are fortunate to be in the program. Cheers, Phil

Hello Costa. I fly to Los Angeles in 1 week to meet with Dr Dorff regarding the similar Amgen 160 trial. From what I have heard, these BiTE trials are cutting edge cancer immunotherapy, so hopefully we’ll both have a favorable result. Can you tell me about the screening process that you had to go through?
