endo experiences
hi everyone, I’ve recently had multiple healthcare & gynae professionals suggest that I probably have a mild form of endometriosis, and am wondering if anyone has the same experiences as me who could offer some advice on management etc? I had run 2 packs of the combined contraceptive pill together

Zometa and Dexa scan
Onco has suggested Zometa as husband has been on ADT for several years. I am reluctant to throw another med at him if it's not definitely necessary. So would you recommend Dexa scan to check for problems before simply accepting Zometa? [Further info: He has never had bone mets show on regular nuclear

Any Herceptin / Prejeta long term survivors? I really need to hear from you.
The death of Shannon Doherty has made me think about my own journey. It is not like I was a huge fan, but she was diagnosed with MBC the same time as I was- Feb 2020. so I have followed her and her open dialogue about her cancer. Her death of course has made me go to the darkest of places.I have been

radiation or screws for fracture?
Hello ladies! So I have shared that a have a pathologic nondisplaced fracture in my iliac crest where the cancer has been for the past 4+ years. The orthopedic oncologist is advising to wait and see, treat it with Zometa, Piqray, and light exercise, and eventually screws if it continues to aggravate

Xgeva S/E
Hi Gents, Lately while chewing food, I get a searing pain in my ear. After researching this, it is apparent that it is TMJ. I know Xgeva may cause osteonecrosis of the jaw. My question is can TMJ be signs of early onset osteonecrosis? I mentioned this to my MO last week. I am monitoring the situation

Pathologic fracture of Iliac crest
Such a complicated journey...but essentially after successful spinal stenosis surgery in March,Ienjoyed a few weeks of good health and mobility. I continued Piqray and had to start metformin. In May, I began experiencing increasing pain in my right hp where the cancer is located. Scans were ordered

I went to see my oncologist this morning. I live in a city and go to locally well known cancer clinic associated with an research hospital. I was there for a three month check in and blood work as I have been stable on AI and Ibance for the past year. The last six weeks had been rough, due to a cold

Chronic sinus issues
I’m currently on an Xtandi, Zometa and Lupron treatment plan. Could there be a correlation between one of these drugs and chronic sinus stuffiness? I also take a cholesterol drug and 3 different blood pressure meds. Thanks in advance if anyone has information. My Best Jim

Drugs and high Calcium
My Oncologist wants me to take Prolia, but the Insurance will not pay for it and wants me to take Zometa. However, I did research on Zometa and its reputation is questionable. What are the alternatives? Xgeva seems better. Any thoughts about this.

thanks for all the responses. I’ve been fighting metastatic bc since 2011 after 19 years from original diagnosis stage 2. Prognosis was very good. Surprised after 19 years. I was put on femara and Zometa. Then 2018 switched to ibrance , fasladex and Zometa. Oncologist retired so I went too Sloan. I ended

Zometa and Dental Clearance
Got infusion 2 years ago following dental clearance. T score has gone from 1.7 to -0.2 in femoral neck. MO scheduled me for Zometa on 4/11. Do I need another dental clearance first?

Jaw necrosis. Check up. Better safe than sorry. Thought I would get away with dying from my PC before I would need to be at a dentist lol.
4 plus years on Zometa so getting a check up for necrosis to be on the safe side. One of the members of my oncology team who I see about every other appointment finally for about the 3rd time bringing it up with me I agreed best to get a dental check for any signs of jaw necrosis. So delayed my Zometa

Zometa side effects
Hello, My new oncologist prefers Zometa to Xgeva so I had my first infusion of this on Monday. Yesterday, Wednesday, was horrible, aches, bone pain, nausea, chills....really just awful all day. I can barely move this morning. Is this from the Zometa? Has anyone had these side effects? The new team
