Always enjoy reading your posts, and I could not think of a better spot to share this good news. My onc/nurse practitioner continue to send out for 27/29 tests on my blood every few months. I don't know their schedule, they just do it. Since 27/29 seems to be a good indicator for me, I don't complain. Last year in late May I was diagnosed with MBC. I knew it was coming, since my 27/29 had been trending up. At the time of diagnosis, it had reached 618.9 (ouch!). Here is the current lucky trend:
7/19/2019--618.9
10/11/2019--167.7
2/28/2020--161.3
5/22/2020--154.5
7/17/2020--103.1
I will take it! These have not been this low since April of 2018!!!!! I guess treatment (Abemaciclig/Verzenio, Zometa, Fulvestrant/Faslodex) is working. Let's hope it keeps working for a very long time.
Good luck everyone!

Wow, a 450-point drop in three months. That’s phenomenal. I’ve been on the medication a year and started in the 490 range. I’m down to 313. I’m so happy for you.
Wow, Anne in Cincinnati (! ), that's just amazing!! What great news! Definitely cause to celebrate!
Can I ask you if you changed treatment earlier this year (e.g. between February and May)? I'm wondering how you achieved that 50% decrease in your July labs...
I have not had scans in awhile. They were worried about low iron, so have been sort of ignoring the scanning issue. With markers this low, I hope they ignore it for a few more months!
I saw my first 27/29 blood test on my report and wondered if it was tumor marker. Mine is 38? I wondered what that meant? Currently I have METS on my sacrum which is small. Taking Femara and Ibrance since May 2020. Had a double mastectomy, 8 chemo treatments and 30 radiation treatments. I really appreciate all of the support from so many wonderful ladies!
That's great! I'm a long timer with MBC an d have heard of women having CA27-29 numbers in the thousands! A gradual reduction like you are having is what oncs usually hope for. Faslodex worked for over 9 years for me. Some of us do really well.
Wowwwww you are down at least 500 points. God has truly blessed you, and your loved ones. I am so happy for you, and I hope/pray our other sister/warriors, and some brother warriors can find these same great results. Stable, NED, and more importantly a cure is what we are all striving for. C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E
