Nytol or any other antihistamine?
Hello, I have been struggling again with RLS since I possibly had Covid last year in March. My first time of RLS was in 2000 after I was ill with the Epstein Barr virus. After a few years of RLS it became less and less until I only had it a few nights per months and only always 2/3 nights before my menstruation

Leg problem giving walking difficulties
About a week ago I started getting aching muscles in both legs, my right leg is totally ok now but my left leg has got worse and I can hardly walk. It doesn't feel at all like nerve pain, its more dull and aches, worse when I put weight on it although improves slightly once I get going. I feel it mostly

Severe pain in heal with PMR?
Can anyone shed some light on this. I have severe acute pain in my right heal comes from nowhere and goes it’s so bad I can’t drive when it’s there! No damage not been knocked, is this part of the PMR journey ☹️ I am on 6 mg Predisone a day and have just had a patch 10 mg of a opioid pain killer prescribed

CATS AND ARTHRITIS
Afternoon folks, this is an odd one but any thoughts or similar experiences, even with dogs. In the early stages of arthritis I was crying with pain and my 2 cats, Olga 17 yrs and Bella (who came from a rescue centre in December last year) 8 yrs backed off and stayed away from me. They would, sometimes

Severe Period Pain but no diagnosis
Hi, I haven’t yet been diagnosed with anything - endometriosis etc… but I joined this forum to see if it’s worth pushing for it to be investigated? I’m only 18 but I have had several trouble with my period since I was 9, to the point where I am curled up on the floor in agony, or where I’m shaking badly

Asthma misdiagnosis. Could it be heart issues? Any advice would be great 😊☺️
Hi everyone! I am twenty years of age. For as long as I can remember, I have always hated exercising. This is because I have always struggled to breathe properly, when exercising. As a young child, I quickly grew to despise going on family walks, because of this. It was suspected I could have asthma

6dp5dt OHSS symptoms? Shall I go to A&E?
Hi ladies, I am 8dp5dt today. I have Pcos but did not develop OHSS so I had a fresh transfer. This is my first IVF on Nhs. So far so good with everything, I felt great during stims and transfer. The first 2-3 days after transfer I had some twinges and lower back pain. Now these disappeared and 2 days

Miscarriage pain
Miscarriage started naturally last night (after waiting 2 weeks) up all night in agony, extreme cramps and pain, feel like I’ve been in labour all night 😔 not that I would know but the contractions were excruciating. Painkillers aren’t helping at all. Hospital said it would be like a painful period

Normal period before laparoscopy
Since 2012 I haven’t had what I consider to be a ‘normal’ period i.e light-med flow, minimal pain and 5 days long. Fast forward 9 years with countless days of pain, one cycle of Zoladex, countless pain killers and horrific periods to the point I’m rolling around in agony, my local hospital have got

Long term pain management
Hi folks, I posted recently after my laparoscopy and everyone was so lovely and supportive! I just wanted to post again to ask for some solutions to long-term pain management. It's been 2 weeks since my lap so I think I'm out of post-op pain, but the pain I had prior has come back with a vengeance!

IBS back pain and pain killers
When my. IBS has flares up it aggravates my back problems. I used to manage the back pain with pain killers and anti inflamatories. I think the latter are why IBS got bad. I am now in extreme pain and paracetamol is not doing mu h on its own. Codeine usually leads to constipation which also affects

Good morning all. So after trying Probiotics a while ago without any improvement, (thank you Nackapan!!) my partner ordered a hair sample test for me. It shows a Streptomyces and Thermophilus imbalance. Does this mean I should percivere with probiotics? Also. It shows low Vitamin A, low vitamin B1 and
