How long does it take for Zoladex to stop working?
I have stage 4 endo and had a 12cm endometrioma removed from my left ovary and my ovary sewn back together in November. I also had my right Fallopian tube removed at the same time. My consultant couldn’t remove my right ovary as it’s stuck to my bowel by adhesions, which I’m told are extensive and in

Chalazion after injection - how long should we leave it after shot before using hot compresses?
Hi guys, I had my lucentis shot last Tuesday (and a very scratchy shot it was too - my worst in two years). I have a repeated chalazion that comes up on the lid of that eye, and it's in the process of flaring now. Has anyone been given guidance on how long we should leave using microwavable compresses

I’m awaiting an appointment with a clinic my doctor has referred me but I’ve been told because of the pandemic it could be about 25 weeks wait. My hands wrists and shoulders are getting quite painful and I’m just wondering if it’s worth getting a magnetic bracelet which I’ve seen advertised are they

More Radium 223 vs EBRT questions
Though this quote is from an old Vogelzang article, it does not seem contradicted by newer studies: "Both EBRT and radium-223 are effective at relieving pain, but both may decrease bone marrow function. Since radium-223 has a documented survival advantage compared with the standard of care, which includes

Problems post hysterectomy
Hi I had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I was advised by the consultant that between 10 and 14 days I may experience a ‘gush’ of bleeding/fluids and this was normal. My pain has been mild with the help of painkillers but since Monday (12 days post op) this has got worse and there has been more bleeding

When would I start to feel better?
I’m a 23M, not sexually active, don’t smoke or drink. sorry for the long post. Since the end of November I had some right sided testicular pain. For around a week I put ice on it and took paracetamol. I thought this was referred pain from the boils as I’d kept getting on my scrotum. On the 1st of December

Swelling post revision
Hi All I had my revision 4 days back. The swelling has not reduced yet. Lil bit of pain is there. Able to manage with pain killer tablets. How long it would take to reduce the swelling. My full penis shaft looks bigger than normal. Is it because of swelling? Did anyone experienced the same?

I have had stomach pain for over a year, 9 months ago I asked if I could be tested with endometriosis. Two weeks ago I had an MRI scan. Yesterday I finally got my scan results, I have endometriosis, I have traces of it at the back of my womb and in a ligament that is connected to the sacrum. Just waiting
