I have had stomach pain for over a year, 9 months ago I asked if I could be tested with endometriosis. Two weeks ago I had an MRI scan. Yesterday I finally got my scan results, I have endometriosis, I have traces of it at the back of my womb and in a ligament that is connected to the sacrum. Just waiting to talk about options of treatment with the hospital. But I have already tried a wide range of pain killers that didn’t help and been on the mini pill and depo provera that haven’t helped to ease my symptoms or the pain. I am in constant pain and nausea that has got worse and its affecting my everyday life, I hardly sleep. Can anyone suggest what else I could try that could help me? Espically til I can talk to the doctor again? Like I try using a hot water bottle, is there anything else I can try in the mean time?

So sorry to hear you're in a lot of pain, but great that you finally have an answer and diagnosis. On really bad days sitting in a red hot bath is the only thing that really helps with the pain - maybe it helps with relaxing the muscles, or maybe I have it so hot that it distracts me from the endo pain? I then try to keep moving by doing some endo yoga and stretching out my stomach and pelvis area.
My sister swears by essential oils. She uses Clary Sage on her stomach.
Really hope you find some relief soon! 🤞🏻
Hi I use a tens machine as well as naproxen and tramadol. Hope you manage to find something to help with your pain. It’s good you have a diagnosis & hopefully you don’t have to wait long to see a gynaecologist x
Hi lovely,
I second TENS machine & hot water bottle suggestions. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for laparoscopy to remove the endo, as far as possible. They'll likely suggest that they insert a mirena coil whilst your under general - please try to have surgery done by a specialist using excision rather than laser ablation xx
