Covid and flu vaccine
I had both my covid and flu boosters yesterday and have just had a really uncomfortable night. I was experiencing fever and chills and pain all over my body. Has anyone else had this problem? I wondered if it was associated with the scleroderma as my body always does overreact to anything foreign. I’

flu jab with adjuvent
My lovely gurus. I am so very worried. This morning I had my flu jab and I stupidly forgot to ask for the under 65 jab without the adjuvent. I have always made sure that I had the safe one before. I am really frightened that I will have a huge flare having had the over 65 jab. Has anyone had it

NHS questionnaire
I haven't had a flu jab for 10 years after a very severe reaction then last year, my 5th covid booster caused arrhythmia that last 3 weeks and came back again 2 months ago. After 4 days in hospital cardio said it was most likely from the booster so this time I have refused both. My personal decision

’Building’ Run
I missed my Thursday run! I was so disappointed, because I’m in the middle of a training plan and it was the speed intervals run that I missed. I had the Covid and ‘flu vaccines on Wednesday and felt quite unwell for a couple of days. Recovered now, though. I have my grandson and his girlfriend staying

Flu jab & AF
Good morning everyone, I am due to get my flu jab this morning, but I woke in the early hours with AF episode, still in it now. Due to take my regular meds at 9am. Flu clinic closes at 1pm. Any thoughts on my getting the jab while still in AF as most likely, going by previous episodes I probably

Fifth anniversary
Tomorrow marks the fifth anniversary of my cardiac arrests and subsequent acquired hypoxic brain injury. I am still waiting for rehab - I think I can safely say goodbye to any hope of that now. My paralysis is no better really but my Spanish has improved - you may recall I woke from a 17 day coma speaking

Flu jab
My partner is housebound due to a fall. I'm his carer. We need a flu and covid jab. Nobody seems to know who does it. Gp says they dont send there nurses to give it. The district nurse has no idea. I've hit a wall. Can anyone give advice.

RSV vaccination
I'm having trouble getting the new RSV vaccination that my hematologist recommended (in addition to my annual flu shot and the latest Covid booster). Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Fyi, I live in California, USA and have private Blue Shield insurance, which is usually pretty good. They say

Flu Jab
Anyone else had a really bad reaction to the flu jab this year? I had mine yesterday afternoon, felt sick and giddy straight away and it's not getting any better. I was expecting the sore arm, headache, aches & pains etc which I have also developed, but the nausea is really getting me down. Went out

Quick question
I have an appointment for a flu jab this coming Saturday but have had a flare last weekend which has meant an increase in Pred. I actually managed to SEE a doctor who is referring me to Consultant because I’m feeling so rotten and he’s “not sure what’s going on”! Anyway, my question is, would it still

RA and live flu vaccine
HiMy daughter has rung to say my 2 year old grandson has just had a live flu vaccine. She said the GP has said to avoid people with very compromised immune systems, eg. they said, having bone marrow transplants, for a week. She asked if it was safe for them to see me and was told they had no guidance

Retuximab and jabs
I'm due the first shingrix vaccine this week at GP surgery and was considering having the flu vaccine at the same time while I'm there. Its too late to ring my rheumatology helpline so I'm wondering if anyone on retuximab has had two jabs the same day, different arms. Thanks.

2023: W14R3 - personal log - delayed entry..
I'm still running! I just can't keep up with anything again, so I'm late with the recording as well. Nothing special, a tired run after a flu shot and about four hours of sleep. But I'm not giving up yet! :-)

The Flu Jab.
The Flu Jab. Good afternoon everyone. I went along along for my yearly Flu Jab yesterday morning early doors and had mine done. I had a fairly busy day so when my jab was complete I put it to the back of my mind. As yesterday went on I felt a little more tired that usual so I went to bed a little earlier

🍏Running in the midst of it all
A quick motivational run with coach Bennett in the midst of packing & sorting a myriad of things before we travel to Canada early Wednesday Morning. It was so good to say it can all wait! I need my run! Due to Covid & flu vaccines I missed my midweek run so this was a treat. Mostly sunshine & beautiful

The forgotten half million?
