My name is Rob from Florida. I appreciate all of you.
I currently have a gfr of 18 which just 11 months ago was between 29 and 32. I have heart disease and diabetes as well. I am 56 years old and am currently taking many tests to get on the donor list for the University of Miami. I am scared I am going to die. I try to stay positive but it is difficult.

Am I deluded? Business travel one week after lap
Hi! I am having my first lap on 27th November. I have a work trip via Eurostar planned to depart on 4th December. Has anyone had a lap before and do you think I'll still be groggy/in pain? I still don't know if it will be a diagnostic lap or one where they need to do surgery. They will decide on the

Issues with teeth
Hey all so my husband has scleroderma for 15yrs. His teeth are in a bad way bleeding gums severe deterioration. Also his mouth has shrunk so can't open it wide when visiting dentist. Ok so the issue he is facing he is in severe pain I think he needs two teeth removed as they have deteriorated so bad.

Red Irritated Meatus
For about two weeks now the left side of my meautus (the opening of the urethra) has been red and irritated. I know it's not an STD because I'm still a virgin. It happened after masturbation that I guess was a bit rough. I figured it would be gone by the morning but yet it's there. I should mention that

Peritoneal Dialysis
I would just like to share my experience with peritoneal dialysis. If you haven't read my previous post introducing myself, here a shorter version. I started off with emergency hemodialysis due to high blood pressure. Once my blood pressure was stabilized I was able to get my surgery for my catheter

A strange Question
I cannot get diagnosed as I have been supplimenting B12! could not wait any longer for 3 month waiting lists to see a specialist (I am on the ground and my balance has gone, cannot feel my feet or legs). Awful brain problems too. My own doctors does not know anything about B12 and would not give me

Daily muscle relaxer
Does anyone else need a daily/nightly muscle relaxer? I would love to stop but it doesn't seem possible right now. My rheumatologist switched me from Flexeril to Tizanidine (Zanaflex), nightly. Does anyone have an opinion on which has the least side effects for long term use? I do have a sub-set of

Mouth Ulcers
Anyone get constant mouth ulcers? I'm not sure if it's related but they've really stepped up a gear this last year, not sure if it's because I'm run down or some other reason but it's so frustrating because I can't eat or move my mouth much and my glads are swollen. Could this be worth mentioning at

The Liver and carbs
I have recently been introduced to this woman and find her YouTube lectures fascinating. I have chosen to take what I want and sit on the fence with some of what she says. My recent diet change borrows from Atkins and from Paleo. https://youtu.be/KAGEhkZ-ssY I watched one on Salt the other day and

possible Behcet's Disease?
Hello, As my title might entail, I haven't been officially diagnosed with behcet's syndrome. I came here for some serious advice, because people are so quick to jump on the herpes bandwagon. I actually have been looked at by a nurse practitioner (zero tests performed) and told I have herpes. I'll try
