When to move on to next treatment?
Started
xtandi
and got to nadir of .78 then in April of this year docetaxel re-challenge when PSA rose over 6. After two rounds ended up in ICU with colitis and chemo stopped. Then Provenge while waiting for trial to open.

Inconvenience/depends? Zytiga plus prednisone
I was on
Xtandi
for two years, and have been on Zytiga for about two months. Throughout this time I’ve had to urinate more and more frequently. I take Flomax every night, so I only have to pee 2 to 3 times every night. However, during the day it seems like I have to pee every 30 minutes.

Should PSA drop after radiation for spine Mets?
I have been taking
Xtandi
now since August 2nd of 2019. Elegard injections every three months since June 2017. My PSA has been slowly going down Aug - 18.0PSA. Sept 19.3 PSA. Oct 16.6. & yesterday Nov. 16.6. I thought it would drop faster ?

Happy Thanksgiving. The dust has settled.
I just started
xtandi
3 days ago and tolerating well with exception of a headache, hopefully unrelated. I was just briefed on SBRT and it seems pretty straight forward, risks vs reward seems to balance out, 3 sessions every other day.

Alternative to xtandi without the sign effects
tell me more about the two drugs, so I will know more when I see my MO at the end of the month, My MO wants to put me on
Xtandi
soon, but I'm concerned about Seizures, as my late Mother had Epilepsy most of her life.

Onvansertib Helps Overcome Resistance to Zytiga in mCRPC Patients, Interim Phase 2 Data Show
These patients are resistant to ARS inhibitors including Zytiga and
Xtandi
(enzalutamide, by Astellas and Pfizer) and their therapeutic options are not only limited, but often ineffective,” Erlander said. Onvansertib add-on therapy was generally safe and well-tolerated.

Lutamides
Xtandi
seems to be the first of these three with darolutamide the most recent ( this summer). I’m glad these drugs are available and I’m interested in obtaining the comparative data and experiences. Information on costs is also welcome.

Starting Docetaxel
My 82yr old husband’s MO has recommended Docetaxel since
Xtandi
is failing. PSA is 7 after a high of 4.5 four years ago. I’m concerned his weakened condition will make the chemo intolerable. He has lost 20 pounds recently.

So 12/1 I Start Medicare With Some Concerns.
I carried a commercial Blue Cross PPO policy which was not cheap but my Zytiga and
Xtandi
were covered at zero cost. All claims were paid without question. Compared to policies today the deductible was not that bad and ER visits are covered 100% no deductible.

Incredible loss of strength on limited ADT
In my previous post I asked about
Xtandi
Monotherapy, my QOL strength is desperate and I want off ADT hoping I can build strength on
Xtandi
then if I have to go back on ADT I will be at a stronger point.

My Dad is Here with Me Now..Seeking Advice for Pain and Zytiga? Please help, need some insight...
He advised to discontinue
Xtandi
right away. His psa 9/19/19 was 16 and Psa drawn last week was 18. He has multiple bone mets. He is in some significant pain now that he is here, and he was having trouble with insurance getting set up to begin Docetaxel.

REDUCE XTANDI DOSE?
I have developed HRPCA, so been on
Xtandi
and Lupron. My PSA went to undetectable from 16 in four months. I do suffer from mild to extreme fatigue. My oncologist just lowered my
Xtandi
dosage from 4 to 3 pills per day. He said I could lower it even more if I wanted to!

Does having brain mets exclude a person from clinical trials?
Already had many treatments and the cancer seems to be resistant to everything - Lupron (painful joints), 177Lu, 225Ac, docetaxel (anemia),
Xtandi
for 6 weeks. Just started immunotherapy (Keytruda) yesterday, but what is left?
