Despite everything, can I regard myself as conclusively HIV-negative after several NHS tests since high-risk unsafe sex in early June 2013?
Hi, I got drunk at a party in continental Europe in early June 2013 and had unsafe sex with an unknown partner, from which I acquired penile gonorrhea (I discovered this a few days later). 3-4 weeks later, I developed acute diarrhoea for 3 days, accompanied by mild fever and sweating, day and night.

Anyone got any experience using nystan?
I noticed my nipples looked raw and were so painful and looked online which said it was probably thrush. Went to the doctor who prescribed cream for my nipples and little ones bum and also nystan. She has been having 1ml 4 times daily but has been really unsettled and been sick quote a bit. She's not

Hi, does anyone have any tips for dealing with thrush when breast feeding?
My new daughter is only two and a half weeks old and we were both diagnosed by the health visitor. Baby is having Nystan four times a day and I have Clotrimazole cream twice a day. Baby's mouth now looks clear but I feel worse than ever with a gnawing pain deep in my breasts after feeding and sharp pain

The Doctor. The Alcohol. And The Valium...
So I am presently in Yorkshire visiting Family. Yesterday, I was walking through sunny Skipton and suddenly felt my chest hurt, I was dizzy and I couldn't breathe properly, as this was all very new and exciting I opted to visit the doctor, and on account of that, I finally have a diagnosis to why I have

Check out the new photos I'm about to post. I'm telling you this disease is messing with the wrong person. I have taken photos of every lesion that appears on my body from start to finish. I have treated them with everything from prescriptions to household chemicals. I've crushed up various pills like

Could my father's loss of his sense of smell (and therefore taste) have been connected with onset of PSP?
Has anyone else lost their sense of smell and taste in the early stages? Just wondering - but it could be totally unrelated as his skin condition, Bullous Pemphigoid, seems to be.

Bacteria causing cancer? Bacteria to Human gene transfers. Controversial but fascinating...
'There are 10 times more bacterial cells in our bodies from the microbiome than human cells. Viral DNA is known to integrate in the human genome, but the integration of bacterial DNA has not been described. Using publicly available sequence data from the human genome project, the 1000

Winter has arrived!
Woke up this morning with chattering teeth (not really but it felt like it). Coldest morning so far this year at 14 degrees (and Yes I know that's not really cold for you in Blighty, but it is for Brisbane) with the thermometer dropping to 10 deg. on Saturday. Maybe its because after so long in Queensland
