25 days since ablation - No AF & no medication except anti-coagulant Xarelto 20mg once daily
The only symptom I now get is a sort of "gap" sensation as often as a few times a day, or not at all. If I take my pulse I feel what seems like a missed beat. This can happen a few times before going back to normal. I've read that this is a "normal" post ablation symptom. Apart from that I feel 110%.

I am on metropolol, losartan, lipitor,
xarelto
, lasix, klor con and tikosyn. I am too old for an ablation procedure - 85-year-old female. Any suggestions on how to deal with the breathlessness would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone been taken off blood thinner and put on aspirin?
7 months after my ablation my EP/Cardiologist has taken me off
Xarelto
and put me on a regular aspirin. I have hypertension and am diabetic and I have still gone into A-fib every two months. Does this seem right?

Options?
I have now had two episodes in the last few weeks (both I think triggered by stress) and am back on the drugs:
Xarelto
20mg daily Flecainide 50mg twice a day Bisoprolol 2.5 mg daily. I hate the drugs especially the Flecainide which makes me nauseous, dizzy and very tired.

Feeling confused and/or a fraud
Lots and lots of tests and Dr visits all last year, my GP sent me and all my test results to a "diagnostic specialist" who told me I had APS and put me on
Xarelto
immediately.

What should I do.
I was given
Xarelto
, bisoprolol and and amiodarone. I felt much worse on these - not sleeping well at night, tired and even more out of breath and the bisoprolol was reduced to 1.25 rather than 2.5. I had a cardioversion in December which lasted June 2015 when I saw the cardiologue again.

Rivaroxaban ( Xarelto) -Dosage
I am a 73 year old male with well managed AF and a current CHADS score of 1 which presumably will rise to 2 when I reach 75. I have been taking Rivaroxaban 20 mg for some 6 months with no side effects except for some Haematospermia. In an effort to try to rid myself of this disconcerting side effect

Confused
I clotted again multiple PE's 5 months later was put on
Xarelto
, clotted on that twice. I've tested 3 times positive for APS had many clotting episodes and other symptoms and now my Dr.'s have me diagnosed with Hypercoagable State.

Eliquis or Xarelto
There is an antidote to these drugs being approved here in the states in 2016. I opted to not take wither of these because of no antidote being available. My INR on warfarin for the most cycles between being low and being therapeutic. I'm wondering if anyone on the forum takes these and is happy with

Don't mind if I stay on the
xarelto
. Someone please cheer me up..... I have never smoked, I have never drank , I have never had high cholesterol, never had high blood pressure, do not have sleep apnea .....I am only 56 years young. Never had health problems until AFib started in 2013.

Am I really an 'enigma'?
Medication provided was Sotalol 80mg twice daily and Rivaroxaban (
Xarelto
) 20mg once daily. The 80mg Sotalol does not agree with me as it makes me feel very tired and lethargic. My GP agreed. Therefore I was prescribed 40mg instead. April 2015 saw my 2nd ablation.

The
Xarelto
may suffice and he doesn't want to put me on plaquenel if I don't have APS. My migraines have been increasing in frequency and intensity all year and I still have pins and needles, double vision, nerve neuropathy and joint pains.

Today i started on blood thinner and I'm on
xarelto
. Anyone who knows about it? I did ask my GP why I didn't get this after all my test and the didn't wanted to admit they had made a mistake in the hospital. Fair to say it's a new illness but I don't feel I get taken serious at all.

not getting any better
So I have been put back on
Xarelto
indefinitely. I see a specialist on the 24th Nov. I read this forum every night and find it very informative. I see other people have relief from symptoms when they are well anticoagulated. I have been waiting for improvement but it isn't happening.

Flashing lights . . .
I am on
Xarelto
20, Bisprolol 2.5 with Propafenone 150 as a PIP. So I took two Propafenone - it takes that to make any difference (if I wasn't in AF at the beginning of the episode, I certainly was by then - all that adrenaline!) as I didn't want to be kept in to be put back into SR.
