Please discuss any supplements with your medical team and do not rely on advice here. Alternatively try speaking to your pharmacists as they have all sorts of books to refer to giving contra indications etc.
I looked into this, and concluded that ginseng is 'off limits' now I have AF. I seem to remember it works, at least in part, by affecting the way the heart is working - not what we want to add on top of drugs, AF etc. I take a lot of supplements, but, reluctantly, this is one I avoid.
Yes, it's one I looked at and remember reading that ginseng was not good with anti-coagulants. But as Bob says, talk to a doctor or a pharmacist to be sure.
