Paradaxa or Dabigitran anyone on this for APS
It works much better than the
xarelto
. The problem is it is making me nausea & a bad acid stomach. I am taking melds for my stomach but it is not working. Anyone else have this problem? I haven't been able to eat in a week. Designer16

Pill in pocket for afib
Hi, I take
xarelto
and my EP wants me to take Propeferone , but apparently if I have an episode he said I am to take 3 of these pills, at once. The idea being that the pills will just stop the afib. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this? I have PAF. Do they really work? Thank you.

American TV ads for NOACs.
In particular I saw at least 6 advertisements for the new anticoagulants
Xarelto
and Eliquis. One advertisement featured an aged Arnold Palmer and a group of men on a golf course saying something along the lines of "We don't let AFib spoil our fun, we take
Xarelto

Anti coagulants
I have now been prescribed an
Xarelto
as a anticoagulant as Consultant thinks I have had a TIA. This drug is still subject to additional monitoring.

I was watching a live TV from the USA and during the commercials I saw an advertisement from a firm of Lawyers giving a warning about
Xarelto
and was directed to those who have suffered side effects, excessive bleeding etc - to contact them.

? Is anyone taking Rivoraxaban or xarelto
I am switching to Rivoraxaban or
Xarelto
10 mg tabs. I am curious what dosages other patients are taking. I have taken it only once but I don't think it is stron enough. Unfortunately my hematologist does not have a lot of information for this drug & APS syndrome. Anyone Designer 16

Possible APS, on Xarelto
My question is this: Is
Xarelto
okay to take? I don't see anyone else mention it? My doctor says it is fine. I am walking around not knowing if my blood levels are good or not because you don't have to do any blood tests when on
Xarelto
.

Xarelto - how long to stop before operation
As is normal I need to stop taking
Xarelto
before my upcoming operation. Generally speaking, subject to of course doctor's advice, what is the general consensus as to how many days before hand should one stop and when exactly should one recommence - immediately after the operation ?

AV node ablation 1st April
I am on
Xarelto
I am not at all worried about the procedure itself, but would like reassurance on the after care. Sorry for the diatribe but am a little concerned that I must not move for a long period of time. Have been trying to lie flat and not move, excruciatingly painful!.
