Wounds

This week it seems a little better, the small wounds I've gotten (the scratch i mentioned and a few I don't remember how i got them) are taking very long to fully heal, and the skin is still appearing much dryer and a little rougher to the touch than my right hand.

For context I have been self harming for over 10 years and recently had to go to A&E for the first time because of the severity of my wounds. Moreover, I’ve started having suicidal thoughts which I’ve never had to deal with before.

I met a lady shopping today.. she told me both she and her friend both in their 60’s have terrible pains in the arms and shoulders. She can’t bear to move them above chest height - and said her gp was totally puzzled as to what it might be ! We discussed PMR, tests such as CRP and ESR and of course this

Twice a few inches from his jugular in his neck he had 9 stitches altogether a 4 inch and a 5 inch so 2 stab wounds. He was wearing a black not vest but sleeveless t-shirt. He kept it and still wore it for years and it had the 2 holes in it... so strange. Why wouldn't he have thrown it away?

I had my laparoscopy over a month ago and had infections in my wounds they seem to be cleared. X

Worryingly I am reacting very badly to mosquito bites, small puncture wounds and cuts, and bruising very easily, wounds take unusually long time to heal.

Hi I had my lap 4 weeks ago and one of my incisions seemed a bit off so I got it checked at the hospital who cleaned it and said it was fine once they checked it over. Ever since they cleaned it though, the incision has been bleeding and the area near my wound is also going weird - I don’t know how

I am very curious because I have leaky gut and want to supplement with collagen which I heard helps leaky gut. I heard potassium iodide is good for hashmotos as its like a detox for the thyroid. If you can help that's great thanks guys. Xx

I have had very thin for years due to asthma meds,in the past few years I have tripped over the prop pavement and my handbag resulting in deep wounds needing nurses dressings at clinics.

I am so desperate for one but was told to keep my wounds clean and dry and that submerging could be a bad idea. Is this until the scabs have totally cleared up mostly healed?

Hi all! I have had my endometriosis surgery 6 days ago now, and have been told I can remove dressing as soon as the wound does not longer leak and is dry.
