care help for very thin skin.
I’m 60 and my 78yr old mother has better skin than me as well. Triamcinolone was the evil thin skinning culprit for me. It’s so embarrassing when someone stops me and says “Ma’am, your arm is bleeding pretty bad.” or suddenly I feel that familiar wetness and know it’s broken open, again.
Primary care, dermatologist, allergist, rheumatologist, etc..
Injections, pills, creams, sprays, ointments, oils, soaps, etc..
Trials of many things. Still trying and hopeful.
In addition to staying very moisturized, protecting skin and preventing tears (or tears, get those too) is my goal. Slow purposeful movements and extra careful around counters, doorways and cabinets. I wear protective cotton arm sleeves when I’m out. I have several colors. My arms and ankles are very discolored and some area is always in a state of healing. Arms have extreme crepe paper appearance.
You sound like an interesting person. I live with my 78 yrs young Mom. She is amazing and I’m so blessed to be her daughter. Hope today is a good day for you!🫧
