Am in need of a bit of tlc
My husband is 88 and has been having treatment for kidney stones, 3 different ops within a short space of time, and is within a whisker of having to have dialysis. My A/Fib has really come back and my bp which had been under control with no meds is now far too high and am taking increasing doses

Your best adjunct therapy pick
If you could only continue with just one alternative PD therapy, what would it be? (My rather gauche attempt to pick your brains and not re-invent the wheel.) For me, it's MCT oil. What about you?

I am in the throws of reading Chris van Tulleken's book Ultra-Processed People. It has been an eye opener. Not that one hasn't been aware of the harms of processed food but perhaps one has been unaware at how extensive it is and also how seemingly malicious for corporate gain? What does come out is

Vitamin A - retinol.
Dr. John Campbell posted a video about how low vitamin A (retinol) levels predispose a person to experience pneumonia from the Mycoplasm pneumoniae which is currently at near epidemic levels among children in northern China. anyone struggling with sleep I would suggest lavender oil, lavender balm and quiet night herbal tablet. I have struggled with sleep for months and tried these all together and they work wonders. I get a full night sleep and don’t wake up during the night constantly. If anyone wants any more info message

I have 'moderate' CFSME/Fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed around ten years ago. I am also predisposed to familial clinical depression and have had that on and off since I was a teenager. I've tried many SSRIs over the years but whilst they were okay, I never felt like myself. I'm usually a glass

Blood Test for vits (and thyroid)
Hello all. Following advice from SlowDragon, got GP to agree to Vit testing as T3 low and as SlowDragon though they would, they drew blood for Thyroid levels , too! Must say here, too, after GPS lowered my Levo, because I had too many hypo symptoms return, I upped the dose from 175 to 200 as on 200

Biotin
Hi please can you tell me how much biotin would affect blood test results. I am waiting for a doctors appointment , they have told me it will be between 2 and 4 weeks, but could be sooner. I am currently taking B complex supplement which contains biotin. I know the guideline is don't take for 7 days.
