Shingles following AF
hi folks - seen a few posts recently about shingles and wondered about my own experience and if anyone had the same. I posted over 9 weeks ago about my shingles outbreak. I still have horrible pain and can't stand clothing even to touch me. I have had 2 epidurals for the pain and they didn't even help at all. Someone wrote back and said that they had shingles since last December and I couldn't find the post. If you

Meningitis and Glandular Fever
Has anyone had any experience with having both of these at the same time? I had viral meningitis in Oct 23 and have had horrible symptoms since; mostly headaches, body aches and extreme fatigue. I went back to work Feb 2024 and have been really struggling with long term effects of it, plus getting

FET in 4 days and nasty cold
I am so worried now, our FET is this Thursday and some nasty cold got me this weekend. I am afraid to take any cold/flu meds so it won't mess up with my lining etc 🙈 Has anyone been not well before or during transfer and it affected the outcome?

Hep B immunity blood test positive
Hi all I was asked by my clinic to do a Hep B core blood test which I believe is same as immunity one and I asked my GP for the tests. It’s come back as not immune to hep b. Does that mean I won’t be entitled to a donor egg treatment? I’m freaking out 😟 Please share your thoughts and experience

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
I'm an SLL patient, 55 years old, now about 2.5 years into remission after 6 FCR treatments. I just recovered from a recent (and thankfully mild) bout of shingles. My shingles was so mild that my GP wasn't convinced it actually was shingles! She had me tested for herpes zoster antibodies, and for good

Live vaccine for dengue fever
My son lives in Bali. He is in the middle of a very severe bout of dengue fever. I am going to visit him for 3 weeks in July. He has suggested I should have a vaccine before I go. I can find that it is called a " live attenuated dengue tetravalent vaccine". Even the vaccine side effects can be pretty

Does asthma severity tend to reflect that of sinuses?
I wasn’t sure where to post this but please tell me if it’s out of place as I’l move it. Basically I’ve had chronic sinusitis with polyps for over a decade. It is more chronic inflammation that’s the issue, with meds the polyps are only small/secondary to the inflammation. I don’t have asthma but
