I am so worried now, our FET is this Thursday and some nasty cold got me this weekend. I am afraid to take any cold/flu meds so it won't mess up with my lining etc 🙈 Has anyone been not well before or during transfer and it affected the outcome?

FET in 4 days and nasty cold
I personally haven't but know people who were ill going in for a transfer. I've actually heard people say that they think being sick with a cold is a good thing as your body will be too concerned fighting the cold to bother to interfere with the transfer! I'm sure it's an old wives tale, but it didn't seem to do them any harm! Best of luck x
I was sick 1 week before my FET (2nd one) and didn't manage to recover totally before my transfer. My TCM practitioner thinks that as long as there's no fever during FET, it should be fine. I was given some Chinese medication to recover "faster" and was assured there's no impact to the ET, but did eat some flu medication prior when I got sick. Didn't want to cancel the transfer since I'm nearly at transfer stage after taking all the hormones
To be honest, can't tell if it affects outcome of the transfer as my first ET failed (I was having flu in early stages of the cycle too and ate flu medication). Currently at 4pt5dt, still testing negative with loads of bloating due to progesterone.
U might want to call your clinic to check what medication is suitable.
Oh I was told to cancel as it can affect nk cells.
