Nose bleeds on rivaoxaban
I've had nosebleeds al my life with blood always coming from my right nostril. A few years ago I had a severe bleed from the left nostril and it wouldn't stop. Paramedics came and tried and then I was taken to hospital, they couldn't stop the bleed so I ended up with a big inflatable bung up my nose, which made my face swell and a few days in hospital. I received some good advice from members here, so will go and see if I can find you my old post. I think one of the best tips I had was to never blow my nose.
Re your blocked nose search on YouTube and you'll find lots of ways to unblock it. If you're not sure how to do that let me know and I will find it for you.

Here it is:
If your nose bleeds become worse or more frequent then seek medical advice. I had to have my nose cauterised before mine would stop. No problems whatsoever after having that done, and it’s quick and painless. My GP did mine, but l doubt if he would now.. You will have to go to ENT at local hospital.
I was prescribed some Naseptin cream which is antibiotic, for my nosebleeds. It helped a little. Gp won't cauterise now. She said there was a waiting list of about 9 months in nhs.
