Hep B immunity blood test positive

Hi all

I was asked by my clinic to do a Hep B core blood test which I believe is same as immunity one and I asked my GP for the tests. It’s come back as not immune to hep b. Does that mean I won’t be entitled to a donor egg treatment? I’m freaking out 😟

I would check that what your clinic want are exactly what your GP requested as there’s lots of different Hep B and C tests. But it’s completely normal to not be immune ( unless you’ve been vaccinated or caught the virus) so it wouldn’t stop you being eligible.

our clinic ask for the test to show we don’t have hep B not that we are immune to it 🤔 no or sure if it’s different for donor eggs we have only ever had donor sperm but obviously they test donors for these things too? I would double check what it is they want and why perhaps? Xx
