Can Blindness be caused by using Aldara (Imiquimod) with GCA?
My dermatologist is once again pushing Aldara (in the US, it's called Imiquimod) to help control my pre-cancerous skin "spots" (Actinic Keratosis) on my head. I have GCA, and I'm concerned because this med induces your immune system to go into overdrive against the spots, killing them, which leads to

Clear glasses for dry eyes
I have exceptionally dry eyes caused by long term use of Cosopt and Monopost for glaucoma. I also use prescribed Carmellose sodium eye drops 1% eight times daily and HyLo night ointment. I have had three corneal ulcers and one onset of marginal keratitis in the last 19 months. (I am attending hospital

Cataract surgery and recovery
I had cataract surgery on my right
eye

eye
has been constantly
watering
- is that normal? I'm applying 3 different
eye
drops - one every 2 hours - throughout the day. Also how soon after surgery were you able to start seeing properly without any issues?

Timing of drops and red eye
Hi, I use drops for both eyes and have Monopost (preservative free Latanoprost single unit doses) in the evening as Latanoprost in a bottle caused irritation. Two weeks ago, Brinzolomide 12 hourly was added. ( This does have preservative and may have to be changed. However, it is not causing daily problems

INF and vision improvement
Some may have seen my issues with eyes since starting Bes. Super light sensitive at my 1st dose period, other vague weirdness, and more recently left eye injury. After a series of eye Dr visits all is good so far. Eye was poked by an eyelash, and light trouble is long gone. I do have light cataracts

POEM - NEVER GIVE UP.
POEM – NEVER GIVE UP. I need to write a poem as this all must be said, I find that I need to say this, just before I go to bed. Its about you having a goal, something that affects you And never give up on it, no matter what you do. You may not realise, there are others, others, just like me,

Looking for support- Degenerative Myopia with CNV
Hello all! I am writing in hopes of finding support in this community as well as some hope. Given the fact that degenerative, severe myopia is so rare and individualized, I know none of us have all the answers. To share my story: I am 28 years old and have had moderately low vision (severe myopia)

practical suggestions for pwp and the 2am club......drooling
Drooling sucks especially when you wake up with a wet pillow...which usually occurs mid to late stage pd. You can drink/eat pineapple which contains bromelain.. that acts to "dry" out the salivary gland which is controlled by the the parasympathetic/autonomic nervous system which ultimately becomes
