Hi! Due to the buserelin shortage I’ve been given a one off injection to down regulate me for a FET.
Those using Gonapeptyl/ Prostrap/ Decapeptyl, how many days after the injection was/is your baseline scan? Xx

Best call your clinic/nurse to explain what will happen when you start your treatment - she should be able to give you the appropriate breakdown for you timing wise Take care

So we always use prostrap for a FET and what happens is you get the injection then you have a bleed and then you have baseline scan to check lining is thin enough (this is about 2-3 weeks after the injection). If it’s thin enough you start meds then and have another appointment 2 weeks later to see if lining thick enough and if so transfer is the next week. So transfer is about 6 weeks from prostrap injection. After 30 days the prostrap wears off so they usually top you up for a few days with bureselin but I need to get a second prostrap lately because of the shortage which is not fun! Good luck to you xxx
Hi
I’ve just read your response to the other post.
I’m on my second round of ivf - used Buserelin first time but due to the shortage have been given the prostap injection instead this time.
I went for my baseline scan on Wednesday but my lining was too thick - my period was five days late and had only stopped on the Tuesday.
They want me to go back this coming Wednesday to see if it is thinner, I have had some spotting since the scan on Wednesday…
Have you ever had this when on prostap? Should my lining be thin enough by Wednesday?? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx
Yes I had this the last time a few months ago I was the exact same asked to come back a week later and spotted for a few days during that time and lining was perfect the next week at the scan. Fingers crossed it’s the same for you too! Xx
