I recently stopped taking meloxicam as my consultant said it can cause

which she thought might be causing it, as I had a lot of fluid like swelling in my head (MRI done and all ok) causing dizziness and pressure.

NDT and adrenal fatigue
I have all the signs of adrenal fatigue - puffy face, dark circles under eyes, salt and sweet cravings,
water
retention
, fatigue temporarily "cured" by caffeine or alcohol...you name it. I was diagnosed with AF a few years ago, and put on Medrol (4-6 mg daily) by my doctor (a Hertoghe doctor).

Just to mention that I am not overweight and most of my weight is coming from

. So I am on Glucophage (Metformin) now as well. However, since I started taking it except slight stomach discomfort, which they say it's normal in the beginning, I have tachycardia as well.

Help with managing violent outbursts, impulsivity and hyperactiveness
We care for a close relative who has just been diagnosed with Fasd. He is only 6 but the aggression we see in him is scary. Does anyone else have experience of how you manage this? It's like stepping on egg shells all day every day but then trying to balance it with having to address the behaviours and

Loss of inner monologue
For the past few days I feel as if my inner monologue has been getting quieter? I don't know what's going on, or if 'it's all in my head' but I know that it wasn't like this before, my inner monologue was more noticeable before and now it seems as though it's just in the background kind of like I can't

a-Syn misfolding blockers/repairers (updated)
This is an update of a previous post. The number of compounds that help in the test tube or mice is overwhelming. Unfortunately, there is not a standard test to determine which ones reach the human brain and work the best. It's not possible to take all of them. But the long list gives hope: there

I think my 41 year old husband has Aspergers but I have absolutely no idea where we start!
Hi there, This is my first post on here. I once did a module, back in my Uni days, on Autism and Aspergers. Fast foward a few years to meeting my (then) boyfriend and he used to do things/say things/act in certain ways and in general, present, to me, (knowing what I'd previously learnt at uni), as being

Relieved, but still have a concern
After having a TURP in October the biopsy showed some PC. As I am in a fairly good state of health for a 70 year old it was totally unexpected and I was dumbfounded. Saw a second Urologist and was told my MRI and bone scans were clear and that my PSA was 0.3, Gleason score 7 and the stage was TB1.

What else to try?
I'm now taking more supplements and
water

tablets to help with the carpel tunnel syndrome. I feel very low at the moment. I can barely get out-of bed I'm so tired. I get headaches, heart palpitations, I cry daily as I feel like the problem just isn't fixed.

My son

Holiday Awards
This is for everyone who needs a holiday, so this is for YOU. Having a great nephew who is inflicted with autism, holidays are a bit if a headache. So, if it's possible and I'm doing this correctly, I'd like to start a post whereby we can all share positive experiences. I've always been one for praising

http://www.thyroidchange.org/our-blog/international-thyroid-series-thyroid-patients-in-scandinavia Was so depressing to read. That Danish "expert" is a moron. Swedish, oh well they just think they are so much better than the rest of the world. Finnish? I hate to say but our doctors rather bitch
