Jaundice eyes
My partner has cirrhosis fibroscan 75kpa and capscore 310. Which I realise are on the high end of things. He has varices and is on betablockers. He has no ascites but his legs are swelled and itchy. His eyes are becoming more and more yellow almost orange in the corners. I don't know weather that

Curious what you think?
Background: I have to take my wife for all her appointments - doctors, hair, etc. Her MO who treats her blood cancer seemed like a good doctor but I know nothing about blood cancer. So I went to her with my records for a consult with the idea it would be easier and less hassle if we could get appointments

Post Kasai_ biliary atresia
My son is 6 months last week, he had biliary atresia and they did the kasai at 5 weeks, the jaundice is still there, how long does it take to clear? Also he was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. We start solids this week. The stool has changed to yellow now but sometimes it's oily. We were recommended

PSA rising
Two months ago, husband’s PSA was .23, last month .20, yesterday .27. MO wants to watch and see what it is next month. Husband diagnosed 9/23, finished 6 rounds chemo on 2/21, is on Zytiga and Orgovyx currently. Concerned about the rise in PSA, would like input. Thank you.

Tumor Lysis Syndrome
Anyone have this happen after a treatment? I am well aware of all the symptoms and events but was wondering if anyone experienced this while getting treatments. My potassium level had gone from 5.4 to 7.0 after treatment a week beforehand and was told by the Oncologist to get to the ER ASAP. ER tested

Rise in PSA and extra Eligard Injection
My psa has risen from <0.01 in Feb to 0.04 in April to 0.27 in July then 0.41 this week. I had a CT and full body scan on Tuesday, which according to my MO, who I saw today, showed no ‘hotspots’. Because my PCa metastasised to 4 places in 2016 when first diagnosed, I had radiation to the prostate followed

ARPIs May Improve Survival in Some With Prostate Cancer
"In patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, researchers have found that androgen receptor pathway inhibitors (ARPIs) outperformed the standard of care, which improved responses to treatment and overall survival (OS; time a patient lives, regardless of disease status)." We are

Emerging cancer drugs (IDO1 inhibitors) might also treat early-stage Alzheimer's disease [and maybe Parkinson's disease dementia].
"The therapies that are currently available are working to remove peptides that are likely the result of a bigger issue we can target before those peptides can start forming plaques. Common Bile Duct
Hello, everyone. I had my Ultrasound last week, My CBD diameter is prominent measuring 12.1 cm. Is this finding worrying? Also my weight is 50 kilos taking 250mg of Urso 3 times a day equivalent to 750 mg. for so many years, my specialist reduced my Urso to 500mg a day, told me my liver is ok

Can psa fluctuate while on adt?
My husband has been on Eligard and Xtandi since 2021. He’d been undetectable until this past November when his psa rose to 0.004, detectable. But then he became undetectable once more until yesterday’s psa test when it became detectable again. His oncologist switched his Xtandi to another similar med

Getting it checked again in a month for follow up. I am not sure if I am just anxious or if I should be concerned but once in a while I get a quick

Clarity Pharmaceuticals gains FDA fast-track status for advanced prostate cancer 64Cu-SAR-bisPSMA imaging -hopefully soon also for treatment
As you know by now, I am following this technology pretty closely as it is very promising and their clinical studies produced some impressive results (one guy became a complete responder after two infusions). This fast tracking is for using the molecule as tracer, but I hope it will pave the way for
