Unrelated to Parkinson's
Prior to 1980 about the only relativly common form of thiamin was thiamin hcl and then most
vitamins
and enritched food products changed to thiamin mononitrate. While thiamin HCL is a wonderful form of thiamin for 99.99 % of the population for some reason I can't take it.

Azoospermia and microTese
My partner will have his surgery in April and we would like to hear good stories (if possible 💪) also if anyone got prescribed specific
vitamins
/medicine to take! Unfortunately as NHS doesn't want to freeze my eggs, I can't go and have my egg collector at the same time as he dose sperm retrieve.

My
vitamins
are all good - as per previous post except for Folate which I am supplementing for with a B complex with folate and have reduced my Vitamin D as the level was too high. My TSH is still a bit high but T4 is okay.

Diagnosis help
She is also deficient in various
vitamins
and is always anaemic. She gets funny dots on the tops of her arms. We have been to the GP many times and have always been told that the coeliac screen is clear and that it must be IBS but she still doesn't improve.

Thoughts on latest test?
Working on
vitamins
and GP did not test FT4 on this text. Got a follow up call next Tuesday with the GP to decide what to do. No TPO antibodies. Any advice on what to ask and suggest at next appointment?

Help Please!
Also discussed on here my B
vitamins
in that they may be stimulating me too much and I bought some Igennus ones to try instead as my B12 levels always seemed to come out too high and I had been on the same brand for years and thought a change with lower doses in some B's might help and not taking them

Vitamin recommendations?
Does anyone have any tips of particularly good
vitamins
to take, as I’m sure I will need stronger than a standard multivitamin! Have added my levels for reference.

Help with results please
TSH 5.93 (0.27 - 4.2) T4 15 (12 - 22) T3 5.6. (3.1 - 6.8) No antibodies present and
vitamins
all in range. Are these results cause for concern or should they just be monitored? Thank you for your help.

Before the test I followed protocol, no medication before, no b
vitamins
for week before etc. I am pleased that my ferritin has improved but unsure about T3 levels?

Advice on recent Bloods please
I am hoping that supplementing with
vitamins
will help . But I am looking for advice to be specific with supplementing and to choose the best products. I am on no other medication, eat a healthy varied diet (mainly vegetarian and avoid processed foods).

Bloods taken
I had asked for
vitamins
checked TSH , Free T 3 and 4. I was told that the T3 and T4 had not been asked for and I said I’d even written to the dr asking for those to be added. Vit D also wasn’t asked for even though I’d asked for that too.

On Thyroxine - 8 weeks bloods shows TSH has dropped but still feel dreadful.
Should I book an apt with the GP to request thyroxine dose increase as still feel dreadful, or try the
vitamins
first and then seek thyroxine dose increase if I still feel dreadful?

vitamin sprays
But is it worth using a spray for other
vitamins
and minerals? There seems to be one for iron, methylfolate, B12 etc.

Update again again again!
I don't have any
vitamins
as this was an NHS test, however, I am keeping my finger crossed that we are also getting somewhere on that also, although I have been supplementing iron tablets (away from the Levo), I don't think they are effective.
