Transferrin?
Hello! I've been reading and learning so much here - so much knowledge and kindness... I've just got some blood tests back after 1 month on Levo and my TSH is down, T4 up and cholesterol down - yay! There are still some tests to come in, but I just noticed that my transferrin level is below range

Help for a friend please
Please could someone have a look at my friend’s recent blood test results. Some years ago, she can’t remember when, she was diagnosed with borderline hypothyroidism and given medication for this. She can’t remember what this was or the dose but the doctor told her to stop taking it after a short while

for over 50's men. Brand names of the Levothyroxine the last few prescriptions have been a mix of Teva & Accord. Below are the test results as my Levothyroxine were increased.

Is it OK if T4 is 12.2, and Free T4 14.9 please? Does the T4 affect how u feel or is the Free T4 the important element?
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please?I'm not on thyroid meds, but keep eye on thyroid due to Tsh up & down. Thyroid tested at Drs April, but 9.30/non fasting due to being fitted in for neuro symptoms for b12. Results then were TSH 1.53 (0,35-4.94) T4 12.2 (9-19.1) I've now done yearly fingerprick check

Introduction and some initial questions
Hi folks, I've ended up here as I was given some routine blood tests when I started with my health insurance (I'm British but I live in Spain) and it was discovered (rediscovered?!) that I have Hashimotos'. I was first diagnosed with this maybe 15 yrs ago when my kids were little. I was breastfeeding

Could anyone tell me the benefit of having both TT4 and Free T4 tested please…just looking at differences in tests and prices please?
Hi, I won’t repeat the question, just wondering if anyone could give me an idea on this please. Obviously a bit of difference between the pricing of the two tests I’m looking at and not sure how helpful that info could be? Some advice before a battle with GP!
Also osteoporosis, chronic
vitamin

deficiency, depression, fatigue, etc. And I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia which I suspect is potentially hypothyroid disease in disguise. All advice will be very gratefully accepted D x
