Periodic need for more B12
I'd appreciate knowing your experiences about periodically recognising the need to up your B12 injections? My journey has lasted some years and after the initial disasters with GPs dismissing me and becoming very ill, I started to SI. Eventually I found that fortnightly jabs worked brilliantly for me

Still trying to decipher the new guidelines. Does anyone know or had a : Cobasorb test? I've never heard of it . Name suggests it tests absorption of Cobalamin

Adding more T3? or keep as is?
Hello All, I am looking to see any suggestions regarding adding more T3 to my current regimen. I am on 175 Tirosint T4 and 10mcg T3; I have Hashimoto’s and have been working on my iron by adding iron bisglycinate, which has helped as I am not dizzy, lightheaded, and have more focus. I also noticed

Help with blood test results and symptoms please
Hi, I have hashimotos, and had a hemithyroidectomy just before Xmas. Before the operation I had been described as sub-clinical hypothyroid, with a TSH of around 2. Since the operation I been suffering from pins and needles and a feeling of slight breathlessness, which mostly comes on in the evening

Test results.. Confused..
Hi. Peeps... Confused about recent blood tests.... My last thyroid test approx 5 months ago i forgot to take my t3 within 12 hrs of test, ( last dose was 4 pm day before am test) so theoretical it may have been lower than it should have been.. Since then i increased my T 3 slightly from 17.5 mcg

Latest test results, not sure what to do next.
Hi, Please see the recent test results above. I'm feeling mostly ok taking 75mg and 100mg Levothyroxine (Teva - changing brands seems to give me problems) on alternate days but still get days feeling cold and fogged up. From the tests I see that D and B12 are both quite low though I take supplements

Importance of vitamin B12
Interesting - Researchers report that depletion of dietary vitamin B12 (which induces propionate breakdown) & propionate supplementation suppress neurodegeneration & reverse Parkinsons-associated transcriptomic aberrations (in C. elegans) https://www.cell.com/cell-reports/fulltext/S2211-1247(24)00193

magnesium summary
I subscribe to Consumer Lab which looks at the science behind vitamins minerals etc.. it then tests these to see if the products are what they say they are. Hopefully you can open the link. It’s long but gives an understanding of magnesium and why we need it if our levels are low. Click on Magnesium

(Today 28 months later his PSA is 0.031 and still dropping) He was told at the time he had 2 months to live. He had spinal surgery the morning after being diagnosed because

Love and B12
A little something I created. How love is so similar and soluble as B12 and they both must be applied consistently and often... I know silly. 😜 Injections of love, akin to B12, Begin their dance, a waltz so true. Once they pierce the skin's embrace, It takes some time to find their place. They wander

Anaemia query
Is it at all possible to have some form of anaemia, even though blood results dont support that or are inconclusive? I havent felt well now for 4 years and have driven myself to distraction trying to pin down what is going on-convinced myself I was hypothyroid but Im not. Ive just had blood tests again

B12 test results
I know I've been asking a lot of questions lately, trying to figure things out. 🤔 Here's another one!I've seen it commented before than once on injections levels should be over 1000 minimum in order for healing to happen. I also know we are told not to get levels rechecked once on injections. In November

New blood test results
Hi all, Please see my first results 6 weeks after introducing T3. I'm on 125mcg of levo and 10mcg of lio. I am very confused because I was certain that my current symptoms were due to being undermedicated! And how can my T4 be top of range again despite me reducing my levo and introducing T3. TSH 0.007

Brain alterations with Chronic Fatigue
Hi all, I'm part of a chronic illness support group and they did a Zoom session on how to use telehealth visits for physical therapy . The physical therapist referenced an article about scientists recently finding what may be the physiological root of chronic fatigue and ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis

where to get b12 injections to self administer?
hello, I am an American living in the UK. I was previously being treated in the USA for my pernicious anemia with once monthly, self injections. In the UK I have been met with absolute apathy and disregard for my condition. I am genuinely just tired of fighting for my care, and don’t have the strength

I hear that the following is on ITV evening news. “Evening News on ITV will see Jimmy Norman share his story on ''how difficult it is'' to receive B12 injections regularly enough for him to be able to function on a daily basis...😞”
