Hi Guys
Just received 100 x Pascoe B12 ampules from Apohealth. Super efficient service as always.
Interesting though …
first order (Dec 2022 ) use by date 03/24,
second order (Feb 2023) use by date 06/24,
third order (March 2023) use by 03/24 and
fourth order this month August also a use by date of 03/24.
Anyone else noticing odd stock rotation?
Any idea why the use by date is not extending?
Thank you in advance my friends!

Mabe brevityThe NHS usually have expiry dates that arnt that long.
I imagine quicker turnover and cheaper buying stock in.
It's definitely using several different suppliers now and have much long dates than usual .
So perhaps pharmacies that no longer supply the NHS have more stock with shorter dates to shift ???
Accord ( panphama) hard now for the NHS to get now.
In our area back to gerot and lannach
Cobalamin H
Used to be shorter expiry date on NHS prescription and longer bought from Germany .
The opposite at present??

Hi Nackapan
Interesting perhaps supply chains are reorganising… I just hope when I reorder in December that I don’t get an 03/24 use by date! Time will tell!
Take care.

They really should state use by date on website...

I’ve just received my order of Panpharma B12 depot from Apohealth.de and was delighted with the 2026 use by date!

Was that for the 100 Ampule pack? TIA

It was packs of 10 and maximum order allowed was 9 packs.

Is that 1mg in 1ml? Same as accord? I had 7 doses of Accord from surgery then bought Pascoe 1.5mg and have used that ever since.

I have just bought 100 x 1.5mg B12 and use by date is March 2024. I will use it up by end November but hoping my next batch is not March 2024 again!

Clearly not what you want. Not sure I'll use all mine by March...

That's a bit disconcerting as I need to buy stock soon.

I would email and ask the particular pharmacy - some are very customer friendly. It seems Apohealth has later dates than the others. I order panpharma from both and versandpo sent me 11/23's whereas apohealth sent the newer 3/26's. Highly annoying to say the least. Not sure about Pascoe or the others.

Thank you Jade
I just can’t get my head around why earlier in the year I had June 2024 - must have been a bit of luck!

Yes they seem to do strange things with their stock! I once got 2/24's on an order, then the next one was 11/23's. I gave up trying to understand 😂
