Which Arrhythmia could this be?
When spinning, a low heart rate, partial
loss
of
vision
, I could feel thuds in chest. I did not pass out. Persisted for 5 to 10 minutes, before returning to normal. Happened on three occasions in the past.

Stopping T3 /increasing Levo?
Thanks for all recent help. I saw my endocrinologist today in person and explained about tightness in chest /breathing difficulties when out walking (even 5 minutes into walk on flat). It’s behind sternum and seemed worse when I increased Lio from 5 to 10 mcg per day which is why I didn’t stay on

Transient Ischaematic Attack (TIA) or Lupus?
Apart from the
loss
of
vision
, everything else was fine. I was in fact planning on going swimming with thr kids! My wife put a cold damp cloth over my eye and after a few seconds the vision returned. I called 111 and was sent to A&E.

Can I get off Nicotine without replacing with another vice?
I was a drinker for a long time - now 3+ years sober. I quit smoking at the same time I quit drinking BUT have been addicted to Nicorette Quickmist for over 3 years now. I am trying to quit the Quickmist. I am so addicted to it, in the past I have trashed my house trying to find a pack and been late

Vision symptoms Prior to Vision Loss?
My GCA came back about 6 weeks ago with transient
vision
loss
in one eye the ONLY symptom. Sed rate and CRP normal over the entire 6 week period. I posted when this occurred and am grateful for this group. Started pred in hospital and visual symptoms disappeared.

Weight gain
Hi. Does anyone have any problems with weight gain? I hear a lot about people losing weight but mine just keeps going up! I walk everyday with my dogs and aim to do over 10,000 steps each day. Although I’m not on a strict weight loss diet I do try to eat healthy meals. I have gained a stone since Christmas

Persistent symptoms and aura/confusion
Over time it changed, less frequent, less severe but the aura, always some
loss
of
vision
, a kind of buzzy head, difficulty with speech and confusion persisted and prevailed and lasted 3 days at a time. After a heart ablation when I had 2 weeks of severe migraine they stopped virtually altogether.

Adjusting Carbidopa levodopa 25 to 100 mg
Over the past several weeks I've noticed jitteriness in the morning and some involuntary movements of my body. I was currently taking 1 + 1/2 Carbidopa levodopa in the morning. 1 Carbidopa levodopa in the afternoon in one pill in the evening. I began to notice these symptoms since the extra half of Carbidopa

Probiotics for Parkinson's disease: Current evidence and future directions 2020
So... I'm taking lactobacillus casei Shirota, which is both the probiotic used in the PD study that showed it helped with bowel movements and is also anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal. It has been shown to reduce the EBV titers in your system too. If you think PD is autoimmune

Binoculars use with wet AMD
Is there any style or type of binoculars better for those of use with
loss
of that central
vision
? A specific brand? Wondering if a single monocular spotting scope with only one eye piece and use it on my good eye would work better? Linda

Headache after coming off prednisolone
I had no symptoms of pain or
vision
loss
( though the floaters are so bad it is a bit hard to be sure) . Testing showed some difference in pupil response to light, and
loss
of colour
vision
on left (as shown by those dot tests, my colour perception seemed normal to me).

Update on Non Temporal GCA
My doctor also warned me the moment I get any
loss
of
vision
go straight to A&E which is more than the hospital said. on the plus side I am feeling better, still cannot swallow solids due to the swelling but maybe it is an infection alone and the horse tablets are starting to work.

Are we going to hear back from the Georgetown University researchers?. Will there be a PHASE 3 TRIAL?
From what I'm hearing GU will not be going forward. They did find evidence of a vascular disorder that may be the root cause. Would hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) with Tasigna be worth a look?
