Another interesting insight from a doctor - this time Dr Nadir Ali at a “low carb down under” conference.

This doctor has realised that the medical profession needs to listen to its knowledgeable patients in order to make progress. Yay!! Here is his first slide. The last word - on the next slide - is “buggy whipped”.

For anyone interested in the benefits of a low carb high fat diet, and the reasons why high LDL cholesterol is not bad, here’s a link to the video: youtu.be/qXtdp4BNyOg

Brilliant will give this a listen!

Buggy whipped? Ha ha!

Made redundant, I suspect he means, which all my GP's already are, and it is they who have done it to themselves. I wanted help, I begged...I couldn't get a single one to listen. To even refer me to someone who might. I was forced to go looking for myself.

My GP was more exercised, animated and engrossed in trying to get me to accept the Covid vaccine. Imagine that.

All the appointments where I described the increasing loss of my quality of life and no animation. No interest.

I walk in and incidentally mention I am not vaxxed and he becomes totally engrossed in getting me to change my mind. Spent ages talking to me and there was actual passion.

It couldn't have illustrated clearly enough just how much the health profession has been reduced to big pharmaceutical drug pushing and stats quoting.

I agree. Trying to separate what is genuine advice from a Dr and what is drug pushing is often difficult. A lot of drugs have side effects which are often dismissed by Drs who offer another drug to help with side effects!

Good video. Thanks. That explains why those of us with hypothyroidism and high cholesterol, have such vastly superior cognitive skills!
