Crash after Covid?
I’m really struggling to balance my body back out after having Covid and so so puzzled. Not sure why this has happened or where to go with it next. Has anyone had a really bad crash after Covid? I’m diagnosed pernicious anaemia and hypothyroid Hashimotos. I had been in the same routine with supplements

IBS and Covid
Had Covid for the third time around 2 weeks ago and my IBS is pretty bad over the last few days. This strain gave me different symptoms , got the sore throat and stomach issues . Anyone else found the same after a bout of Covid recently ? Probably doesn’t help I’ve been taking lots of antibiotics

Covid again
Good morning, this morning I have tested positive for covid, felt flushed and chesty last night and did an eliminating test but was surprised to see that the covid test was positive. I also spoke to my gp surgery last week regarding vaccine jab but was told that I'm not over 75 yet .I have been to breathe

advice on where to get blood results!
had an endo appointment a few weeks ago through a referral from my gp. The endo at the health centre sent me up to the hospital to get a blood test for T3 T4 and something else. Where would I get the results for these? I rang the health centre who said the endo doesn’t work direct for them so I’m not

What is an ICM?
An Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) is a small thin device that is inserted under the skin on your breastbone to record the activity of your heart. It can remain in place for up to 3 years. The device will capture and record 'episodes'. The recorded data will be collated and assessed and help to diagnose

Post COVID fatigue
Just noticed that my last post 9 months ago was about me having COVID which I got over pretty quickly. Had it again two weeks ago and this time totally zonked. Got fuzzy head and headaches, upset stomach, funny taste in mouth and shattered. Sleeping ok and eating ok going nowhere near alcohol. Just wondered

Now negative for Covid, is it okay to go back to last Prep dose immediately (7 days Sick Day Rule of 10mg extra)and when to restart taper?
I had Covid last week so followed Sick Day Rule of upping my 10mg Pred dose to 20mg (took 2nd 10mg in evening for 7 days). Tested negative today and feel much better, just a little bit coldy still. It wasn't a severe attack by any means (I'd actually had my Covid spring booster jab in late May so was

Have been on PAS page and Thyroid UK page for a few years but just thought I'd be greedy and join yourselves too. Steroid injection into Kiloid Scars
I have a dermatology appointment on Saturday (yes an NHS appointment on a Saturday) to review treatment of kiloid scars. I think one of the options suggested may be direct steroid injections into the scars themselves. I have had PMR for 9 years and have at last got stable on 7 mg prednisolone daily
