The dreaded Bisoprolol strikes again
My asthma has been so good lately I’d forgotten where my
Ventolin
inhaler was so I took my combi early. Then I began to feel as though there was a ball in my chest trying to force itself up my throat. It’s not my usual asthma symptom but, feeling a bit panicked I took another dose of inhaler.

Is it just me or are allergies extra bad this year?
Nightmare to get the
ventolin
inhaled. Everything I cough or blow out is yellow. Peak flows down to 430 from my usual 600 when I can manage. Who knows what it'd be if I tested it whilst coughing.

Asthma advice
Hi all, hope you are well So I'm taking symbicort, spiriva and
Ventolin
as needed. Also was told to take montelucast an fexofendine as I do suffer hayfever and allergies etc I'll be honest I'm not very good at remembering the montelucast, does anyone take this and does it actually help?

Clenil switch to Luforbec
Never experienced such problems with Clenil but did when taking
ventolin
as a reliever. Anyone else experienced anxiety and feeling very uneasy with Luforbec?

Uncomfortable breathing
I have been to see the asthma nurse who advised to take up to 10 puffs of
Ventolin
at any one time if required & I've also been prescribed a stronger regular inhaler. My breathing still isn't great & I wonder what my next steps are?

Is Ventolin a trigger.
I'm asthmatic, since childhood (I'm 63 now) and I find that my
ventolin
inhaler sends my heartbeat haywire. Does anybody else experience this and does anybody know an alternative to
ventolin
. I see the nurse specialist next week and it would be nice if I had a but of a plan. Thanks Tom.

Confusing advice from consultant
Today though the consultant told us not to give
ventolin
. He said ONLY give
ventolin
if we hear a wheeze. He said the
ventolin
wouldn't help with the cough. I'm now quite confused. We've always given
ventolin
too at the start of a cold.

Salamol doesn’t work for me! Is anyone else finding it less effective than Ventolin?
Hello asthma buddies, Ok.. so while I’m all for saving the planet, I’ve been told my new blue inhaler, Salamol, is a CFC free equivalent to
Ventolin
. If I order a repeat prescription for
Ventolin
I automatically now get a Salamol. This happens at all phamrmacies I’ve tried.

New Salmol inhaler tastes awful
Has anyone been prescribed a new blue inhaler to replace the
Ventolin
blue one? I've just been given Salmol and thankful my asthma is well controlled because it tastes like glue. Are there any other options that don't taste so bad?

CHANGE TO FOSTAIR
Changed from salbutomol/
Ventolin
to Fostair. There is some improvement. How long should it be until Fostair is fully effective? Thanks.

Anyone else had problems with Salamol CFC-Free MDI Inhaler 100mcg
I was given this in place of
ventolin
. From the start, it seemed like a
ventolin
inhalor when it's blocked (slow and sluggish to spray) two weeks in and hardly used it just stopped working at all.

Ventolin and Cramps
Does anyone suffer the same when taking
Ventolin
. These mainly occur in my hands, ankles and lower legs. I also use Sereflo twice per day, so I only use
Ventolin
as a back up if the symptoms of asthma become worse. If you do have similar issues, do you have any strategies to deal with them?
