Salamol Easi Breathe
Anyway I've been on
Ventolin
for decades (I'm 72 soon) It is the same ingredient has
Ventolin
but works so very much better as it forces me to sit up and inhale deeply. I feel so much better. I'm asking for a repeat!

Re ventolin
I can't use
ventolin
as it causes palpitations, to feel heart is going to fast. If they say chest is clear listening to her chest. Ask for a chest xray to find out what is going on. Good luck.

Coughing badly after virus ...
Currently on holiday in India and although I am taking Fostair with a a couple of shots of
ventolin
inbetween, the cough is not dissipating. It's particularly bad at night.

No More Ventolin?
Just put my repeat prescription in to be told
Ventolin
can't be issued because I already have a regular inhaler, the RelvarEllipta. I have talked myself hoarse explaining that the Relvar is a MAINTENANCE inhaler and the
Ventolin
is a RELIEVER inhaler without getting anywhere.

Spiriva respimat
Been given Spiriva Respimat to try alongside Fostair and
Ventolin
? Been taking this for 6 days. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to do its job and stop my breathlessness (if it’s going to). The reviews are not very hopeful that I’ve read. Thank you. x

Back Again
My GP finally agreed to refer me back to the respiratory team at the hospital after a year or back and forth but wouldn't change my inhaler but hdid give me a
ventolin
with spacer instead to take during acute flares if I can't get the puff for the Duoresp.

it feels like I'll never get better
Often times when in bed at night I get a burning sensation in my chest (and breathlessness), it feels like something awful is about to happen, but that's the only time I respond to
Ventolin
as I fall asleep after a puff).

Inhaled bicarbonate
It's not a replacement for
ventolin
but the idea is it helps reduce inflammation in asthmatics since we can't fully exhale out the carbon dioxide in our lungs which is acidic. It neutralizes the CO2 and acts like a base layer on our lungs.
