ventolin
I do not get much relief from using the blue ventolin inhaler. Is there any alternative? I also have aclidinium bromide which is good but not for frequent use - only twice daily. Have also not got clear of chest infection - on doxycycline and steroids again for 4th time. Any comments? jks

Change of inhalers.
For many years I have been taking Seretide as my preventer inhaler and it works well for me and even when I've got cough and cold viruses. I had to change GP surgeries earlier this year as mine closed. There no query on my prescription of Seretide when I change surgeries but after my asthma review

rationing Ventolin
Hi, I have a very supportive GP practice but have found that,of late, the asthma nurses have become really judgemental about my asking for more ventolin. they say they have been to various conferences which inform their judgement of prescribing ventolin. they say I should only have 1 prescription a

a fib and asthma
Hi, my son (47) has just been given a new inhaler (clenil modulate), having used only ventolin for years. He has a fib, like me. He noted that every time he uses the inhaler (clenil mod) it seems to trigger a fib. Has anyone else ever heard of this reaction, or experienced it themselves? JanR

Hello
I'm a 54 yr old female and I've had asthma since birth. Now for the past I don't know how many years, I've been on ProAir HFA, Flovent, Foradil, and spiriva. It worked great. But foradil went bye-bye. So I just went to a new lung dr. and now things are not good! I tried Breo with a LOT of breathing

Inhalers like Ventolin?
Hi all, I hope you can help as usual, I have tried 3 powder inhalers all have side effects which make me ill. Spiriva, Aclidinium and Bricanyl. The only inhaler I can use is Ventolin. Is there anything of a similar but stronger version on the market. May thanks Steve
