GP restricting number of blue inhalers
Hello, at a recent assessment, my ‘moderate’ asthma was deemed not under control. I have been on Bricanyl powder inhaler (blue) and the brown equivalent which name escapes me right now 🤦♀️ for the last two decades. I found that i have been struggling taking the powder inhaler and that, in an emergency

on holiday with afib episodes and still enjoying it.
Hi you lovely people. I recently posted that I have been AFIB episode free for quite a few months now and gave all the credit to my GP surgery changing my asthma medication from ventolin to fostair. My breathing improved massively but at the same time my AFIB episodes and ectopics decreased massively

Just been given Lubfobec - is it effective?
I have been using Clenil for years as a preventative inhaler and have just recently been told I have to swap to Lubfobec and not have ventolin any more. I'm so scared, Salamol didn't work at all for me and actually seemed to cause asthma attacks. The asthma nurse told me I could no longer get Ventolin

Symbicort or not.
I've been on Clenil 250 since Becloforte ended. I have Ventolin 100 too. Been asthmatic for 33yrs. I tried 'Easy Halers' a couple of years ago but didn't get on with them. I prefer PMDIs. So, recently the asthma nurse suggested I try Symbicort 200/6. I said I'd try it and see and then get back to

Ventolin vs salamol.
I had been taking ventolin for many years. Doctors changed it to salamol. I have tried this for months and occasionally got ventolin when I repeatedly asked. However was told I was using too much salami as I didn't find relief without more puffs. Asked for ventolin. Told they are the same, then what

Ventolin nebulae
I don't suppose anyone knows of a source for Ventolin nebules? I know it's not likely available without a prescription in the UK but the person needing them just can't face another sparring match with the GP. Please PM as per the guidelines. Thanks in advance.

Back Again
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the mammoth post. I was last on this forum about 7-8 years ago in 2015/2016 after my previous symptom free asthma flared up badly and left me very sick (back on inhalers, steroids, and multiple hospital admissions). We managed to get my asthma back under control

Been put on trimbow
Following up to my previous post about well-controlled (or not) asthma, I filled in an online consultation form. Had a phone call from the surgery pharmacy team who suggested I try trimbow. I did explain my concerns about the anticholinergic bit as I had a rough time trying Spiriva in November and
