Too much Seretide? Lower back pain Left + Right
Is it possible that my Seretide 250 inhaler 3 puffs am & pm could be causing lower back /kidney aches? If tried lowering to 2 puffs twice a day but then I’m reaching for ventolin. Is anyone else on a high dose like me?

Reasons To Be Cheerful
Reasons To Be Cheerful (and greatful) this Christmas. Thank You Sir David Jack & Team Don’t recognise the name? You (and me) owe this guy and his Team ‘Big Time’. The Blue Inhaler that gets us out of trouble so often, was the result of their development of Salbutamol back in 1966, at a subsidiary of

Walking the tightrope
What do you do when you’re at the beginning of a flare and you’re not great but not bad enough to see anyone/do anything?😬😅 I’m currently on a very slow downwards spiral which feels different to usual due to starting mepo I think. I’m quite tight and have a poor PF (45-60%), but otherwise no (or very

Flu Jab?
Has anyone had their flu jab? I Had mine early on Friday and have been coughing and using Ventolin ever since. I was doing so well! Of course they say it’s just a coincidence, I wondered how many others have ‘coincidentally’ had an Asthma problem a few hours after their jab? I realise that catching

Feeling confused!
Hi, my asthma symptoms started to worsen about 3 weeks ago and I started using the Ventolin reliever inhaler more frequently. I went to the asthma nurse on Monday as things had got worse again and I was getting short of breath when walking so she prescribed me a 5-day course of steroids. I went back

Seretide to Fostair, my experience and concern.
So like all of us my Asthma gets worse in the Winter, however this year I wanted to just check in with my Doctor about my symptoms. I mostly struggle breathing at night, I average a 550 on my peak flow in the day (I'm 50 year old male) but with Ventolin get straight back up to healthy 650. I was on

What more
Hello Well I’m back to my asthma specialist Monday for my ct results. My PF has been much lower since I last saw him and I’m constantly wheezy now. I’m on montelukast 10mg, seratide 250 and ventolin inhaler. What more could I go on? I have had brittle asthma since 1 years old. I’m constantly told to

Hi all. I have recently been given the dual action inhaler fostair to use. I was on clenil but was using my ventolin every day so was put on fostair. I find it ok overall but I kind of feel that my breathing is at 90% rather than breathing easily which I can when I use ventolin. I have only been on fostair

Confused and looking for advice please :)
So this question is mainly aimed at people who have a mild form of asthma I guess. And I know that I've asked a few questions before and gotten advice based on it but just wondering if someone has been in this situation or what I could do. Thanks in advance. Trying to keep this short...and failing ;

Session 7, Pulmonary rehab.
Wow. That's my first impression of session No 7. I really struggled last night with very sticky almost immovable mucus' from about 02:30 onwards I was sat up on the side of my bed quite breathless, really talking to myself to keep calm and rational. After huffing and several shots of Ventolin,

Exercise.
Hi all. I have just started on fostair as the clenil I was using wasn't really cutting it. So far so good although I feel a bit odd and can't explain how. Anyway my question is. When I exercise I sometimes feel just a tiny bit restricted afterwards. I could put up with it because it is hardy noticeable

Good news on my acid Reflux
Hi all its been a month since I been on Raberazole and 4 weeks since my endoscopy. Last week I started to feel much better even though I have been running around doing temping work. I went back to the doctors today and we discuss my medication. The doctor decided it would be a good idea to be on the

1st Post on my lung condition, sorry if very long post.
Hi All. Came onto this forum as I am a member of Healthunlocked C25K & Bridge to 10K so seemed natural to do so. I went for a spirometry test on Nov 8th then back to see nurse specializing in chronic disease management today on 13th November. I started smoking late in life at about 45 years old and

Worry about long term side effects of Ventolin.
I am 43 and was diagnosed aged 18. Until very recently I have been using Qvar and Ventolin to treat my Asthma. Lately my doctor has said my asthma has become more chronic because I am older and that long term use of Ventolin may have caused my airways to tighten permanently. This has really concerned

It was so funny....
Hi there I’ve just watched QI it was funny and made me laugh so much that I coughed alomost all of the way through it, now I’ve had to have a puff of Ventolin, now I’m exhausted, we are going out for the day, should I have some more Ventolin? Or will it just go away? Can laughing have tipped me into
