Flu jab & getting ready for winter
Went to the GP to get my flu jab earlier which I'm hoping will keep me protected over the winter. I've also been put back on doxycycline to give me a base level protection now that the sun is on the wane. Not overly pleased by this as I hate the hot flushes and burning feeling I get when I take the tablets

Any positive transplant stories 60+?
I've got a CLL buddy who has just been diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, which is basically bone marrow failure. I'm not clear if this is transformation of her CLL or a secondary malignancy. Either way, she is facing a decision about undergoing an autologous bone marrow transplant. She is in

Cannabis Oils - Best Ones for T-Cell Relapse?
I am wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction, we are at a loss. My father in law has had a relapse of NHL - TCell 2 years after a bone marrow transplant. Does PCOS get worse?
Does PCOS get worse? I’ve been diagnosed for a year and a half - give or take. Since coming off the hormonal coil I’ve had periods, sometimes I’d be late for a couple of weeks, which gives false hope of pregnancy... the last month or so I’ve seen more and more hair fall out and a couple of black hairs

Recent SLL/CLL Patient Question
Hello. I found out I have SLL/CLL earlier this year at 31. I had Rituxan treatment shortly after since I have neutropenia I can't seem to shake. I will save this for another post. My lymph nodes are visible but not huge yet. Since I have 11q I have read it can become a bulky disease. Not sure if they

Mouth pain with avastin
I just had my 2nd treatment of Avastin on Friday. On Saturday I felt like I had a toothache. My jaw is sore to the touch. My gums on the one side are extremely painful. I know mouth pain is a side effect. I wasn’t sure if that meant from sores (not present) or just pain in gums. Has anyone else

Painful teeth
Hi I was diagnosed with ET Jak2+ last October. I started Hydroxycarbamide in December 500mg weekdays and 1000mg sat and sun. I also take aspirin and have been taking citalopram 20mg since last August. I have now finished the citalopram. Since January I have developed very painful teeth. I now and again
