Thank God for great doctors & MD Anderson
My sweet wife just had her checkup here in Houston after being on Ibrutinib and
Venetoclax
for 12 months. SHE IS CANCER FREE! They will keep her on the protocol for one more year & we will continue to come out here every 3 months for checkups. There is hope & God is good.

Weekly Zarzio?
Hi there. because of the WBC drop (I'm on
Venetoclax
) one oncologist at the hospital recommended 2 weekly shots at one day's distance as opposed to the set of 3. It's the first time I've heard that- what if WBC goes too high- we can't go and have a daily blood test can we?

Extreme tiredness first few weeks on venetoclax
I am finishing my 3rd week on
venetoclax
. My numbers yesterday are good: ALC 3600; platelets 149000; hemoglobin 11.4 (it was 10 before treatment). I feel okay much of the time. However, I have bouts of extreme tiredness where all I can do is lie down. Usually they come in late afternoon.

Australian trials ongoing combining Ibrutinib and Venetoclax?
Newly diagnosed CLL, full results later today with Hematologist. I was wondering if any of these great options are available in Australia? I am currently working in Brisbane, my home town is Adelaide.

Venetoclax and weight loss early
Although all my numbers have improved substantially after almost two weeks on
venetoclax
(ALC 41000 to 9000; Hg 10.4 to 11.5, etc), I have lost weight and experience fatigue on and off throughout the day. Have others experienced this with good numbers?

Update- My Imbruvica plus Venetoclax Captivate trial.
Hello, I am very pleased to report I am still MRD undetectable in the blood and bone Marrow after almost 1 year!! My Doctor prefers to say MRD- undetectable instead of MRD Negative. I am most likely on a placebo. Per the trial I am on either a placebo or imbruvica. I am Very very sure a placebo

Ibrutinib Partial Response
I have read so much about the new combination
Venetoclax
and Ibrutinib placing patients into MRD negative status, that I am anxious to try this to get my WBC count down to normal. My new Oncologist seems happy with where I am and doesn’t want to take any chances on adding something new.

Spleen Enlarging on Venetoclax
I started
venetoclax
last Wed. I am still on the 20 mg dose. My blood test looked from good yesterday. WBC went from 47000 to 12000. However, today I noticed my spleen has enlarged. It is ubstantially bigger than it was before I started treatment. Is this to be expected?

Ibrutinib and Obinutuzumab with Venetoclax
He was given info. about the clinical trial which adds
Venetoclax
to Ibrutinib and Obinutuzmab. Half of the participants will receive the
Venetoclax
. His other option is to be given just the Ibrutinib. We do not know how to make this decision.

Are there an Aussies on here who have had access to Venetoclax ?
Australia is about to announce the approval of
Venetoclax
for relapsed / refractory CLL/SLL. Just wondering if anyone on this page has had access either via a clinical trial or compassionate access and would like to help us share the good news. Thank you Sharon from Lymphoma Australia

Blood test
Venetoclax
was the treatment that developed out of my trial. seems like the CLL is coming back quite fast. I can't find the info I had concerning blood work. Is there anywhere here that I can find blood tests explained? I had the chart from CLL Topic and I really liked hers. Thanks, Lori
