My oncologist at UCSD is recommending I take advantage of a clinical trial starting soon that would include
Venetoclax
and Ibrutinib. Does this recommendation seem a bit aggressive or early? Thanks everyone, I appreciate your help.

Relapse/Refractory CLL
- treated again in 2019 with
venetoclax
+rituximub. I have heart issues, although not Afib, which is why I went w/
venetoclax
+rituximab in 2019. - IgVH unmutated, CD38 neg, ZAP70 pos - although I can never keep straight what all those mean, which are good and which are bad. Thanks, Greg

Starting Venetoclax next week
Hi everyone,I found out today that I am to start
Venetoclax
next week and Rituximab 6 weeks later for a total of 6 months. I was diagnosed in 2018, had 6 months of FCR in 2019 which went pretty smoothly except for severe Neutropenia. I feel fine and my bloods are within normal range.

memory recall and venetoclax
Anybody experience memory recall issues while on
Venetoclax
? If so did it get better after treatment? Just asking, as my husband had never had a stellar memory and don’t know if the meds could be making matters worse . Thank you once again to all!

Venetoclax first day- nothing happening?
Hi- My father just started
venetoclax
in the hospital. How do we know if it is working? His WBC count went up from yesterday and all of his kidney numbers are fine. It seems like nothing happened.

I am to resume taking
Venetoclax

Covid finally got me.
I was just 5 days short of finishing my
Venetoclax
and Obinituzamab treatment, but I am done with it now. My doctors office told me to stop taking the
Venetoclax
while taking the Paxlovid and that it wouldn't make sense to start it back up for 5 days.

O+V treatment in Canada after Calquence
I'm still not sure of the whole protocol with the Obinutuzumab +
Venetoclax
treatment. My oncologist is vague, or perhaps, my mind is not focused when I am in his office. I understood that it will be 5 or 6 visits per month for infusion and this for a whole year? Is that correct?

CLL Treatment concerns
can a BCL Inhibitor like
Venetoclax
help with the same thing? Is anyone in the group taking
Venetoclax
as only treatment for their CLL. My Dr is doing a clinical trial with Lisaftoclax (APG -2575) it is a BCL inhibitor.

Fluconozale
Does anyone know anything about the use of this anti-fungal ( fluconozale) that helps with the absorption of ibrutinib or
venetoclax
? It seems like it means you can reduce the dosage by about 1/3. This is really important for those who are self funding.

O & V TREATMENT UPDATE PRE 4TH INFUSUON CHECK UP.
I am asking my social director to set up a family dinner while I am feeling so good pre
Venetoclax
ramp up next week. 3. Left side of torso pain is nearly all gone which is huge. It will now not stop me from being active. It was so bad I had to be very careful not to cause further injury. 4.

Venetoclax availability
I have just read that Abbievie, the manufacturers of
Venetoclax
are pulling out of the NHS National pricing agreement, on the basis that they aren't being paid enough to continue research, etc.

Possibly Failing Calquence - what’s next?
Was in remission till 2017, I opted for
venetoclax
, drug had to be dicontinued due to adverse reaction and neutropenia, but I achieved remission. In 2019 had another node biopsy in neck, cll related, pet scan numerous nodes above and below diaphragm.

Fascinating: Development of Venetoclax
Particularly for those on
Venetoclax
, or considering the drug, I couldn't resist sharing it.

BTK Degrader Shows Potential for Treating Refractory CLL and SLL
All patients had previously received a BTK inhibitor and just over 75% had also been treated with
venetoclax
. Of the 17 patients with CLL/SLL, 23.5% had unmutated IGHV and 17.6% had TP53 mutations/deletions.
