I received an email and text message from the NHS saying I was eligible for a booster. I had it 3 weeks ago. My messages said that I came into the category of being immunosuppressed.

I'm 'too young' (72). Had to shield for over 4 months as ECV but then I didn't meet the criteria when they rewrote the list.I am going to contact my GP to see if I can have it as they're pushing so hard for those eligible to take it up. Seems like they might have some to spare.

Good morning, I had Spring Booster last month. Unlike the past I hadn't heard anything so I booked it on the Government website online. When I went for it I just showed them my previous NHS letter and a copy of my upto date prescription showing the high amounts of oral steriods I have to take daily. They said thank you and proceeded. I hope you get yours soon.

Yes and there is also too much ill informed nonscence talked, the figures show better to have the jab. but if you want to risk it, then its up to you. take a look at Kate Garraways husband. Too much rubbish written on this by anti vaxxers, its time we all took our own health and precautions seriously and made our own minds up, i was a bit iffy myself about the 5th one, but had it anyway as have enough to worry about. I caught Covid Xmas but recovered, i still have symptoms, but thank goodness had the protection or could hve died.

yes but they told me unless I was over 75 or had serious immune deficiency issues, I would not have got one

I can say i have been hounded, emails, text, letters. I really dont want anymore and have told them this, yet in the early days I chased and couldn't get one , even though i am immunosupressed and have bronch. If you want one then chase it up I am sure they will have some to spare x

Yes, I had my 7th 4 weeks ago. I’m only 45 but I have ILD and PF caused by lupus and I’m taking a pretty high dose of mycophenolate and also taking hydroxychloroquine daily. I didn’t get an invite, I just used the NHS booking service and it allowed me to book.

Update, having received letters, 3 texts and 3 e-mails re booster and having phoned my doctors who told me to phone 119 who checked my medical records and said that I was High Risk, gave me a booking reference and I asked if they were sure that I was entitled to a booster and being told that yes I was entitled to the booster. Beware - I got there this morning only to be told that the NHS have sent out the wrong letters and 119 were wrong and that as I am 74 I am not entitled to the booster.

All over 75 and those at risk, i.e. COPD and heart also got reminders for boosters, we h ad ours in April.

One point worth noting though my Husband got his date and i did not until i went on line and searched, i had been given a date, but received no confirmation letter, so check on line, you may have an appointment given and not informed but should have had it done by now.

I had my booster a few weeks ago. I had a message to say I was due for it. I’d already waited for three months because I’d just had Covid and Shingles together.

I actually had my reminder about a month ago but was advised by the lung team to wait for a while because my surgery was only on 5th April and due to other health conditions and medications I wasn't healing as fast as I could be.

I eventually had the jab on Wednesday and, so far, no problems at all - not even a bruise, always a problem with me and more so since I've been on high dose steroids.

I know people who have had it. I enquired at the surgery. Told to book online. Online says can’t because I’m not immunosuppressed 😧 So have to wait 😠

I was invited by my surgery to make an appointment to have the covid booster which I had on 13th May probably as I'm 75 and have qualifying conditions. You can book yourself, if you're eligible through the NHS site. Hope you get one soon.
