Living with PBC
Hello friends. I have been diagnosed with PBC for 10 years now but have been unable to get better. My hepatologist is making me take Urso and even though my numbers go down, my liver isn't getting better. I have been suffering from a very swollen liver these past days and it wasn't until I saw a homeopathic

Urso I. Spain
Hi everyone, I have just received my first prescription of urso in spain. It is still in casual form like I had in the UK but a yellow and green one. My normal one was white. My Dr has put on the prescription, take one every eight hours. I normally take all three after breakfast. Does anyone else take

Hello everyone
I was recently diagnosed with pbc and didn't realise that I had symptoms for at least 5 years (convinced it was the menopause), had blood tests done over past 3 years nothing showed up except possible high cholesterol. Dr decided he needed more tests and a scan. I'm on urso now but I'm confused about

Hi All - Please I need help about the Dreaded Itch... I was diagnosed 1 month ago with PBC (and AIH overlap), For about a year beforehand, the only real symptom I had was the itch which would come and go all over or on legs, palms, and scalp. I’m new here
I was diagnosed today and was surprised my specialist doesn't want to see me until next year. I will be starting Urso tomorrow. Is sit normal not to be seen sooner? Basically any info I have found is on here was not really told anything at my appointment today

Evening all......yep, I used to be a copper!!! Had a trip to qehb today to see hepatologist, first time since tp, having had pbc. Always been surgeons till now. Recovery from op has been thankfully very good, with excellent bloods. So all good there But, something I had asked before was concerning

Hot flushes...menopause or PBC?
Hi everyone, I’m getting loads of hot flushes at the moment and not sure if they’re menopause or PBC. I’m leaning towards PBC because they start in the torso and don’t reach as far as the face/head. They also last for just a few minutes but are coming quite regularly...sometimes one very hour. Do menopause

Dizzy spells
Hi everyone. Hope you are all feeling good today. Does anyone have dizzy spells & do silly things like walk into door frames? Not sure if it's anything to do with PBC or just me. Would be interested to know. Could it be anything to do with urso? Didn't have these problems before I started taking them

Struggling to function
Hi Everyone This is my first post even though I’ve been a member for more than 4 years since I’d been diagnosed with PBC. I’m now 46 years old, since the age of 37 with abnormalities in my liver from someone who barely ever would drink alcohol it took a number of years from a serious bout of pneumonia

Three months since diagnosis and Urso
I’m three months into the diagnosis of this disease and prescription of URSO. I’m wondering what everyone has experienced with side effects and/or the symptoms of PBC. At the end of July I was rushed to the hospital. I went to work and simply leaned down to put my lunch on the floor and immediately
