In June this month my adalimumab was swapped as it want working wellto ustekinumab which I had my first dose mid july. In have previously had unknown dizziness which went away last august (2023).

Just received a letter from my crohn's doctor my poo sample has came back raised at 1800 my blood tests have shown I'm very anaemic they're going to start me on ustekinumab any advice please fellow chrons sufferers

So the decision by the Rhuematologist and others is to try Ustekinumab.....I was wondering if anyone else has tried this Biologic and how it works for them Thanks kev

Secondly , What are peoples experiences of Ustekinumab? And has anyone experienced of taking this with IBD and cancer history? Thirdly, anyone any further experience in bringing proctitis into remission?

Adalimumab, Etanercept, Certolizumab, Golimumab, Abatacept, Tocilizumab, Sarilumab, JAK inhibitors, Ustekinumab, Secukinumab, Ixekizumab, Guselkumab, Belimumab, Rituximab. Methotrexate, Mycophenolate, Azathioprine, Ciclosporin, Leflunomide, Tacrolimus.

I’m already on methadone 30mg tablets for pain, gabapentin paracetamol 5mg prednisolone maintenance dose, and Ustekinumab nothing is helping any advice would be great!

Hi my last 2 blood tests for Serum ALT have come back abnormal I am on Leflunomide & 12 weekly injection of ustekinumab (Stelara) - has anyone else experienced this?

I suffer with Crohn’s disease and recently been having symptoms etc so doctor changed my medication from infliximab to Ustekinumab. So had my first dose of Ustekinumab on Friday the 5th of October. And ever since I’ve been suffering with lower back pain, nausea and stomach pain.

I just began receiving injections of Stelara/ustekinumab to treat my GCA. In the states anyway, it is currently used to treat those with psoriasis, but they have reason to believe that it may actually force GCA into remission in about a year's time.

Other biologicals in either planned or ongoing early clinical studies in GCA include abatacept, ustekinumab, sirukumab, and gevokizumab. A trial of infliximab in GCA was terminated early because of a lack of efficacy.
