Do you start
Urso
with only minimal change? I'm nervous and my specialist appointment isn't until Monday.

Excessive ,long lasting 'suntan'
Unable to take
urso
, and started on fenofibrates earlier this year as a replacement for statins, which my liver cannot tolerate. Has anybody else experienced anything like this? I also have several large freckle type marks, that weren't there before.

Longevity
I am very lucky was diagnosed with pbc in december 1998, I have taken
urso
since that date. I do suffer with fatigue and recently the itch has returned but fingers crossed only when I am tired or hot. I amso lucky to still be here and just push pbc to the back of my mind and keep going, I am 72.

I'm new here
I was diagnosed about 25 years ago and have been taking
urso
for the whole time. My elevated enzymes were 600 when i was diagnosed went to down 110 within 6 months...recently rose to 150 but dr doesn't mind. I never knew the itching was part of it and the fatigue!

Acute kidney infection
I have been diagnosed for many years but the condition is under control at present with
Urso
. I have recently been hospitalised with an acute kidney infection , although I have never even had a water infection in my life. This escalated rapidly without any warning and was quite frightening.

URSO and Severe Gas
I was diagnosed in Sept 2012 and put on
URSO
. I have always suffered from extreme gas since I was a teenager. It has nothing to do with what I eat...it comes from stress... Has anyone had a severe increase in their amount of gas while on

Checking back in to report on this crazy ride...
In the meantime, I am on
URSO
for the PBC and my liver labs are in the normal range now. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. 6 months on
URSO
got me into the normal zone. I have zero side effects from the
URSO
.

PBC, Tired, Moody, & Fibromyalgia???
I was diagnosed about 1 1/2 years now, and have been on
Urso
for that long. The fatigue is still a HUGE problem, and it makes me such an unhappy person.

Fibroscan 4.7
Had my consultant appointment this morning who confirmed PBC and given me
urso
prescription to start when my blood results come back. While there had a fibroscan with a reading of 4.7 which she said is normal?? In. Scale 1-7 does it mean higher end of normal or is it not that sort of scale?
