Adding more T3? or keep as is?
Hello All, I am looking to see any suggestions regarding adding more T3 to my current regimen. I am on 175 Tirosint T4 and 10mcg T3; I have Hashimoto’s and have been working on my iron by adding iron bisglycinate, which has helped as I am not dizzy, lightheaded, and have more focus. I also noticed

Hi I received these blood test results today but didn’t receive any explanation and wondered if anyone knew if they were within the normal range before I can eventually speak to a doctor. Also my FIT test came back negative but my calprotectin was raised at 65. many thanks.

Mental health in T1 diabetes
My partner has been in hospital for many weeks now, and discharge has nearly happened twice but each time he has been kept back. Hi everyone ❤️ So I posted a couple of days ago about the abysmal treatment by my surgery in me getting new thyroid blood tests 🤦 First I should point out my surgeon in Liverpool requested these thyroid bloods because (1) , I've been off thyroid medication since January 31st (no thyroid) I had a 4D

PMR/GCA and Sjogrens disease
Does anyone have Sjogren’s disease along with PMR/CGA? For months I’ve been struggling with worsening vision in my left eye, and trying to figure out if I was having a flare. The left eye vision is like it was before cataract surgery, worse some times than others, especially after reading. Opthomologist

Rt3 - clarification
Hey all, I've been doing a fair bit of reading and I see that the stance here is that rt3 is useless. Maybe this will help someone. A cell will have a receptor for T3 and RT3 can bind to it weakly (thanks Helvella, I have corrected it). When you take too much T4 or you don't convert well, your protective

So still can't get Sneaky GP to put my repeat px Levo back to 150 mcg daily. She also refuses to remove or edit records where she wrongly entered that I agreed to reduction to 125mcg daily. I have had lengthy discussions re this. She is fixated on TSH and keeps trying the you'll get cancer, heart

T3 and arrhythmia
I've been on levo for 25 years. A few years ago I found I have mitral and tricuspid regurgitation ,sinus tachycardia, and some PACs. I asked an internist if I could take t3 and he said no. But I can't tolerate the fatigue anymore. Is it safe to take t3 when having arrhythmia?

Would I absorb B12 in tablet form if I had PA?
Hi all, On a hunt to figure out the cause of my continued iron loss... Had an iron infusion in July 2021 and I'm now back to deficiency. GP has done all they can, confirmed by private GP. The guidelines now assume iron loss is related to periods... except mine are very light and only last a day so

Fighting for corrections is so hard.
I am coming up on the one year of my wife's passing. On this day last year, she was sitting in her hospital bed eating frozen fruit. She was at 99% Sat with 1l of O2, and the plan was to turn it off in the morning. LFT's bang on Normal. Indirect Billi is still high, direct normal. Albumin low Plat low
