So still can't get Sneaky GP to put my repeat px Levo back to 150 mcg daily. She also refuses to remove or edit records where she wrongly entered that I agreed to reduction to 125mcg daily. I have had lengthy discussions re this. She is fixated on TSH and keeps trying the you'll get cancer, heart trouble lie. After results in Feb still wouldn't change, by this time I was feeling less OK. Other things are going on and I am not feeling well or happy at all.
So tried to get someone to listen, another GP had telephone discussion with me, I was adamant I was not feeling as well and wanted my PX reinstating , she started the , but your TSH is suppressed argument and how dangerous it was. I again explained the T3 , that and that my T4 was lower than ideal but she kept saying I might need a further reduction. I told her I was having bloods done this week so cheeky cow asked if I would share results 🤯. So new results above, I did tell her I had already started to have 150mcg again 3 days a week instead of 125mcg.

I didnt know being over medicated could cause cancer? That's a new one. A consistently high over range FT4 is linked with certain cancers but your frees are well in range. Really that's a new low from your GP.
Yes, she used the usual heart problems, osteoporosis then added the big C for effect, Nice . So I just responded with Oh really can you give me the details of the papers your basing your "facts" on. Or you could email me the links to the journals they are published in. SILENCE , no thought not. Took me bloody ages to start to feel human again now my Vit D, had got it up to 120 from 10, Folate was 2.7at start , magnesium, have gone downwards again, but at least my CRP and cortisol have also dropped bloody Doctors, going in in morning for hysteroscopy to investigate , not looking forward to that
They are full of scaremongering crap aren't they? They forget that with the invention of the internet we can look claims like that up in the blink of an eye. Good luck with your procedure this morning, hope all goes well 🙂
Well the hysteroscopy , what can I say. Obviously not how any of us would choose to spend a morning, but needs must. Not pleasant, bit painful but bearable. They do at least inject local into cervix. I'm ND and don't really cope well with plans going wrong, it was a nightmare. Taxi no show, had to go home and highjack Hubby and littlest to detour to Hospital on the school run. Got there 30 mins late, spent 20 mins in a queue on phone trying to get through to Hospital to let them know, in the end get to hospital and the appropriate dept then hung up as still no answer. Have had lots of very traumatic experiences at that hospital, then almost walked into the narcissist MW who twice failed me for being "too empathic" , dodged her , I wasn't sure I could have acted appropriately 🤬. Kept myself distracted throughout procedure by waffling about all the bad experiences I had had with Gynae services, the staff in clinic were Ok. Have to wait 4 - 6 weeks for results 😢. In bloody pain now though, Oh yeah just worked out the dose they currently have me on would be ballpark for someone 24 kg lighter than me, they are talking about reducing again to a ballpark dose for someone about 40kg lighter
